As requested new report for this deck builder bug:
At least for creature types you can right click on creatures and select from a list.However this is also broken in Shandalar as it seems to find only the exact type you selected but not all other cards that have 2 or more subtypes besides the selected one. e.g. if you select soldier it will find only card with this subtype exclusively. If it has also human subtype it will not be found.
Note: In Manalink3.0 this works fine and you get all creatures with selected subtypes,in fact all cards with that subtybe not only creatures.(you have to deselect though all other types in deckbuilder to get the selection).
