* Fixed Land Destruction Decks (The AI will use Land Destruction spells as intended)
* Fixed Tutor/Instant/Sorcery spells (The AI wil use most of these spells when needed)
* Fixed various deck such as the Oath deck (The AI will combo Oath of Druids & Forbidden Orchard, will upload the sample video when it's released.)
* Updated codes for Fetch/Shock/Dual/Non-basic lands.
* Fixed Squee, Goblin Nabob & other cards Triggered ability (no more loop when used in your upkeep with discard effect.)
* Fixed Tarmogoyf cost triggers and Counterbalance - Sensei's Divining Top combo.
* Added/Enabled Ally/Trap/Eldrazi Subtypes to the game. (It will patch your original Data_core.wad so please make a backup of the original.)

OLD ANNOUNCEMENT | Open
DOTP CUSTOM DLC MOD Patch 4 ANNOUNCEMENT :lol:

Its a long time since the last Custom DLC MOD patch has been released, anyway, the upcoming Patch 4 will be available this week. Also, I've discovered how to enable some creature subtypes(for coders, Eldrazi, Ally and Trap can now be used after this patch) :mrgreen: . But it will patch your original Data_Core.wad, so before patching make sure to backup your original files :roll:

Changes so far:
Fixed Land Destruction decks (The AI will now use Land Destruction spells!)
About 6-7 New Decks!
Fixed card/s thats not working properly (if you have found a bug please report, I usually check bug reports here: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=3062

If you have found any card/s errors, please post it there. It will greatly help.

Thanks. I modified the first post so it's easy to read. :lol:

Patch 2 is on the works, mostly for new decks and cards from Scars of Mirrodin.

Also I didn't mention earlier that this MOD may not work with other cards made earlier from SVN or other Custom DLC.

This was made for use with the new Expansion 3 installed (Expansion 1 & 2 must also be installed).

As a stand-alone MOD, this installer is basically much easier to use without the hassle of setting up Tortoise SVN.

The new Expansion 3 is very good though it may lack some good cards in it, they fixed some other bugs.

You need to find your saved game, then put it on another folder as a backup. then delete your current saved game. :roll:

All my art work is back Kev! 8)

This newest mod that replaced the old one has fixed all of the missing art that I had for many of the cards.

Will this be the new way that any future updates will be done, with an installer. It is better than the SVN, but how will any new mods from the other devs be effected by this?

One thing, I tried to edit the Classic Black weenie deck in a text editor like I did before to replace some cards with others in the game, but this time the changes did not work. Now, I'm not sure if anything I did in the past to edit some of the xml files created any of the missing artwork problems I had so I don't want to play around with it too much.

Can you, when you have time, create a true Necro Deck for me that contains 4 Necropotence with some changes to the Classic Black Weenie deck. Keep the Classic Black Weenie, just make another similar deck with these changes:

If you remove the 3 Funeral Charm & replace it with 3 Megrim, remove 4 The Rack with4 Consume Spirit and remove 4 Order of the Ebon hand with 4 Necropotence, and call this new deck Classic Necro.


Also, you mentioned you are looking at cards from the new Scars of Mirrodin set. I am loving this new set and wonder if you could do an Infect deck.

There are many versions of this style deck so you can look around and see what is doable because some have Planeswalkers in them.

One last decktype that is really cool is centred around another SOM card, Necrotic Ooze. This along with 2 old school cards Triskelion & Phyrexian Devourer form an unbelievable "machine gun" effect of +1/+1 counters that pick off everything, creatures & your opponent. Not sure if the Necrotic Ooze is doable in coding it as it gains all the abilities of every card in the graveyard.
That's how this combo works, get the Triskelion & Devourer into the graveyard and the Ooze just goes nuts!

It's got the Vengevine - Survival combo in it too, but if that gets locked down, here comes the Ooze combo! :shock:

Anyway, these are just some ideas for decks, after all, you have to do the work Kev & I'm happy to play with any decks you make! I hope you can make me my Necro deck though, & I'm interested to hear what you think about any other of these decks as a possibility.

Thanks again for this newest release. It is a blast to play with and it also cured all the card art problems I was having! 8)

I completely remove the game and reinstall it from scratch but it is still not working.

What's the normal step to unlock a deck, please?

I'm thinking about is it possible to set at campaign to unlock a particular deck like the normal WoTC DLC expansion does?

What are the total number of decks and cards added?

The installer says "DOPT" instead of "DOTP". :)

Sure! You can make a torrent. This Mod is free for everyone that likes it :D

It will work with the paid version.

The total number of cards as of now is about 750+ ( I think 3 or 4 decks from the SVN are not included. )

Bug report
- Elementalist cannot cast Nova Chaser (I guess this card because I cannot see his hand) When Elementalist have 4 mana, he try to cast a spell and the game is just stop (the music still playing but no one have priority.
- AI have problem with Flooded Strand and Scalding Tarn. Sometime AI try to fetch for an Island to Negate my spell but he got no land. (maybe everything fine but AI just fetch nothing.)
- Umezawa's Jitte -1/-1 effect not last long until end of turn. I saw its effect until Jitte leave play. it strange. Sometime, use -1/-1 but get -2/-2.
- Sword of Fire and Ice trigger ability (deal 2 damage) occur before state base effect check. I do not think this bug impact to the game much.

can you specify which deck that the AI use?
because newer cards from DLC 3 affects other cards( yep Bog Wraith reported to me that flooded strand was not working but the culprit is Luminarch Ascenscion that came from DLC 3 which was fixed in the upcoming patch 2. )
