CHALLENGE: Beat Chandra/Garruk in 2HG
by Kithkin » 04 Oct 2014, 19:21
I have been playing/testing the fabulous DLCs of VolrathXP and TheFiremind for a while now. One of my exercises is to try the contestant in a 2HG match. Over the course of time I found that the AI tag team of Chandra and Garruk is incredibly hard to beat.
So, here is the challenge: Name the team that can consistently beat Chandra and Garruk in 2HG.
Which tactics did you apply? Which combat trick? What's your success rate?
Difficult level: Planeswalker
Any deck is eligible. (Maybe except vxp's Angelic Chorus deck, which is way over the top). If you have an incredible custom deck, share it with us.
Have fun.
Edit: I am talking about Chandra's "Firewave" and Garruk's "Hunter's Strenght".

Ah i have a fun one. "Life Particles" and "Vintage"
Life particles focused on small 1/1 that gained life and dealing damage for gaining life
vintage was nothing but getting the land to play an enchantment with an upkeep cost, and do 20 damage to them
consistent, beautiful, have fun

Good Idea ! But which Chan/Garr are you talking about, the 2014 or 2013 - 2012 - (GrovyleXShinyCelebi's WAD) ? I'm having a good time playing my Super Friends deck ( 5 colors, bunch of planewalkers + Doubling Season to use their ultimate as soon as they resolve, usually it's either Chandra or Bolas' the one who nukes everything up) xD

i looked through that thread. didnt know if i should cream the corn or my pants. both seem equally beneficial, however im guessing we cannot mod 2015 beyond the card limit set for us by stainless steel games.

Very much so... I admit I was tired when I made that post, but I wasn't THAT tired. I have no idea what happened.Kithkin wrote:Wrong thread???Xander9009 wrote:It's up a few levels. viewtopic.php?f=62&t=14214MasterXploder7 wrote:bounce and boon & the blue white deck work well with life gain and draw cards
