Since when i started to play Magic in 1994, i had this idea of a set based on Greek Mythology. Now i see Theros is coming, but i have imagined it a little bit different. I made some example, if someone like it and want to program the cards and functions we can make a complete custom set.

I like this idea NeoAnderson. My brother and I are actually working on a custom Comics Mod @ the moment so my help coding an entire set would be limited for now. But I can help you with coding these spoilers tomorrow. I look forward to your set and I'll provide whatever help I can when time permits. Good luck with this project!

Edit: Perhaps you should ask a Moderator to move this topic to Custom Releases. I think that thread was made specifically for this type of set. Also, always try to give credit the the artist for their contribution. I'm sure I've seen both of those images on deviantart. Actually, his user name GENZOMAN. His Volt Zeus is awesome also. Perhaps he would feel pleased to have his art featured in a mod.

You're right the art pics are from Deviantart by Genzoman if we will decide to realize this project i will add artist name to these cards and also to the future cards, I will contact him, to inform about the usage of his arts.
I can realize the complete set, of Olympic Myths, creating a balanced set, with Creatures, Enchantments, Sorceries, Instants, Artifacts, etc..etc..
About the programming side my experience isn't up to date, my last programming experience was 10 years ago with visual basic. So i need someone who programs the functions, and the cards. Anyway if i see some example, i can use it to remake other similar cards, i am not so useless.
I am Italian, so i need also a revision on my english just to be sure i used the right forms.

About the Topic move in the right section could you let me know which moderator i have to inform about it?

I'm not sure of which moderator to contact regarding moving this topic but I'm sure it's okay to just start your 'official' development thread there and leave this one here. Also, I agree about re-wording. After 14 lines of sentences (including blank spaces between) the text on the cards start to shrink and thinning so we have to be concise with custom sets. As for programming skills required to code cards, I think that most cards will be copy and paste of existing cards as you've pointed out, just like with the real MTG. For example, with Aurelia, the Warleader they took parts of Relentless Assault added Haste, Flying, and Vigilance and grafted it to a 3/4 Angel. Also, A Tactical Waffle's topic For Those Starting a New Set and kikushadowblades topic Tricks of the Trade over at the Magic Set Editor forum has been invaluable. I'll be re-vamping my Comics Mod (development name) thread soon to list features and various card types. You can request card codes for the one's you have difficulty programming in your 'official' thread. A lot of people here will offer to assist you if you ask. Again, I'll program cards whenever I can. Just contact me if you want my input or advice.

I've tested the cards and Zues has 'reveal Progenitus' in the text. Also, the game crashed @ random when I played the third Phoenix card. All the abilities seem to work properly and the scroll bar was present for added abilities. I think you're laying a strong foundation.

Thanks for your reply my friend, About the text inside these cards I will refine it later, because i am focusing on cards' specifics, so there are some things to complete about the text and translations.
About the phoenix and mox are just to have something to cast inside the testing deck, i don't know if in the final set these cards will remain, anyway i will moderate the abilities compared with mana cost.

About the crashes, is strange my in game test doesn't seems to crash, i also played more than 3 phoenix on battlefield, also more divinities at the same time..i don't know what to think.

If you just want to add a "Divinity" creature sub-type, this post will help you out. Though from the looks of one of the earlier pictures you put up, you would like Divinity to act as a new super-type. Unfortunately I don't think defining a working, new super-type is possible based on some later discussion in the thread I linked. Using the sub-type approach you should be able to filter out other divinity creatures/spells when you declare protection.

Thanks for your kind reply, @MC Brodie, you're right these cards should act as like super-type, but as i read inside that post will be not possible to do it, so i think that using defining Sub-type mixing with Legend Super-type should give some more options. Anyway i am not sure exactly of each step i need to do it. I will go deep in the problem when i have defined the most part of the new set. As i read until now, Is needed to add Sub-type inside Specs and Text_Permanent files i am not sure about Functions needed modifies, i am not a programmer.

Hi guys, i tried to follow your suggestion @MC Brodie but i have an issue, i would define DIVINITY SUB-TYPE, but i have a problem.
These are the steps i followed to declare the new TYPE :

1. CORE USED TO START IS DotP2014 custom mod v7 S62 BY @sumomole.
2. Folder SPECS edit file CREATURE_TYPE.TXT add as last type Divinity
3. Folder TEXT_PERMANENT edited CREATURE_TYPE_TEXT0062.XML add last row : CARD_QUERY_CREATURE_TYPE_228 CARD_SUBTYPE_DIVINITY Divinity Divinité Divinidad Göttlichkeit Divinità
4. Folder FUNCTIONS edited CONSTANTS_FUNCTIONS62.LOL add row CREATURE_TYPE_DIVINITY = SIZE_OF_TYPE_BAND * CARD_TYPE_CREATURE + 228
5. Defined the card as <SUPERTYPE metaname="Legendary" /> <TYPE metaname="Creature" /> <SUB_TYPE metaname="Divinity" />

You can see inside this screenshoot :
Inside the game is not recognized well, it is displayed only as Legendary Creature.

Inside the Deck Builder it appears as Legendary Creature : [CARD_SUBTYPE_DIVINITY]

I am sure i make some mistakes, please someone could help me to understand what's wrong ?

For step 3 you stated that you added CARD_QUERY_CREATURE_TYPE_228 which would partially add it to sumomole's choose creature type functions, but did you actually add an entry for CARD_SUBTYPE_DIVINITY? If not that might explain why it didn't show up in game. Also you need to make sure that your SPECS file is not being overridden by any other SPECS file (it seems the last one loaded gets priority).

As for showing up in the deck builder you would need to add that type to the localizations for it to show up there. For the Deck Builder adding this line to a localization will add the string to that localization:

Thanks a lot RiiakShiNal finally i solved, about the localization inside deck builder now it works, i have also finally get a working divinity sub-type. I use @firemind mod, i edited the files, and i get it working also inside the game.
The Costant value assigned to this sub-type is "1231".

Now i will try to work on the "Protection from all" because i want to exclude the Divinity sources. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
