[unsolved-wait]Minion Reflector

Postby Aswan jaguar » 22 Nov 2013, 17:23

Describe the Bug:
Minion Reflector doesn't work with champion ability well. You can't use Minion Reflector ability before you champion the creature.

Which card did behave improperly ?
Minion Reflector - champion ability?

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
PTT

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Minion Reflector if I choose to trigger it first can be used to copy the creature with champion ability that entered before it champions another. So if they have haste you can use their abilities or for any other reason.
Champion ability uses the stack and can be responded to before it resolves.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

First, check your version.

Second, just so I'm clear, you mean that you should be able to cast a creature that champions another, trigger minion reflector, then be able to use the created token creature after it is created but before you have to sacrifice it?

I always thought this was the way it should work, but that an engine limitation necessitated a different result. Maybe korath or gargaroz can enlighten us.

Yes,I mean what you say also you are not given the chance to use an instant in response to creature with champion after it selects the creature to exile.
I know we have engine limitations and not only us but all magic engines that I know of,I just don't know & remember which.

He said in a prior post that he has the current version but is just posting a backlog of bugs he had for the prior version.

But Aswan Jaguar, if you are posting those prior bugs, could you just check if they are still bugs and list the current version to avoid confusion?

Yes, that is what I said earlier too, unfortunately recheck need to be done from the backlog to PTT because we don't know if PTT fixed it.

That is why when I do a bug check session I always immediately upload reports because you never know when a new update/fix is going to be up...

This will fix itself when (and if) triggers become respondable-to in general, not before. No reason to leave open until then.
