Describe the Bug:
Rite of Consumption 's 2nd ability doesn't deal damage equal to the sacrificed creature's power to target player and you don't gain life equal to the damage dealt this way.

Which card did behave improperly ?
Rite of Consumption

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
Manalink 2016/08/27: Eldritch Moon v2, duel

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Rite of Consumption 's 2nd ability deals damage equal to the sacrificed creature's power to target player. You gain life equal to the damage dealt this way.
*You might want to check it's rulings in case it fails to any of them since originally was coded before official rulings were up for it:
Rulings
15/4/2013 You must sacrifice exactly one creature to cast this spell; you cannot cast it without sacrificing a creature, and you cannot sacrifice additional creatures.
15/4/2013 Players can only respond once this spell has been cast and all its costs have been paid. No one can try to destroy the creature you sacrificed to prevent you from casting this spell.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Actually does damage and gain life. Catch is that it doesn't require sacrificing a creature.

Maybe behaviour is different for AI as AI indeed sacrificed a creature in my savegame however it didn't make any damage to any player. It sacrificed Ashenmoor Gouger and as you can see in screenshot AI seems to target a back of a card instead of a player.Another time it sacrificed Pitchburn Devils but damaged me only with Pitchburn Devils dying ability.

Could the AI be targeting itself for some reason? Because if you cast it it works correctly, assuming you sac a creature.

Rite of Consumption original bug fixed previously, now fix deal damage equal to cmc instead of power in commit 2ecdd0c9.
