Despite the problem that it's not always easy to check if really no player can take a valid action you would remove the possibility to bluff other players that you can do something if you skip priority automatically.
So in my opinion it's not worth the efford to check all this conditions to be able sometimes to enforce an effect.

I guess you would like to speed up the game play with this automatism?
I feel that you can already enough speed up the game with the use of the F4/F5/F7/F9 (+F10 for stack next update) keys.

What still has to be added is a "yield this ability" option for triggered abilities, so they cab be resolved automatically.
But beyond that I see no (strong) need.
