Newb unable to run server in NetBeans
by obnixulus » 04 Oct 2016, 11:06
I would like to contribute to the project once I get up to speed on the tools and the code. (I noticed a bug while playing that I would like to take a whack at fixing.)
I'm using NetBeans, following the Getting Started wiki
The client runs great, but I'm having trouble running the server. I'm too rusty with Java to know exactly what this means, but it looks like there is a problem with the way some SOI cards use the Predicates.Or operator.

The forum won't let me include the error in my post. I get "Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs."

You need at least 5 posts (make some dummy posts to get to 5) to be able to add other elements.obnixulus wrote:The forum won't let me include the error in my post. I get "Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs."
Some possible causes come to my mind?
You pulled again the most current repository content?
You did a clean and build on the root project?
You added more MEM for the Sets project like mentioned in the wiki?
You did deactivate "Compile on Save" in the project properties?

Thanks for the time. I started over, paid more attention to the details, and now it's working. I'll hopefully be cranking out some card rules in the near future
