Sorry, I don't know anything about black and/or white corners, this is what we have as you probably know:

black bordered cards should have white corners, white bordered ones black corners.

Since you posted two HQ samples, I just want to clarify with an xlhq sample. He's talking about the corners of the white or black borders of the cards, which are cropped off the hq images. The colors should contrast - So we have black over white and white over black. See attached.
