Here is a fixed version of the Mythic Rare.

BTW do we have gradient info for any of Born of The Gods, Journey into Nyx or Jace vs Vrasker?

Here's the official rare Born of the Gods vector. Somebody can extrapolate the common and mythics from that. EPS format.

skibulk wrote:As I have said before, I have a lot on my plate, and I cannot do all the symbols by myself. If another will help, it would be appreciated. I am willing to do symbols and watermarks which are not already provided by wizards. For many sets however, the official symbols are released in medium quality - downloadable after the set release - using Ark's Gatherer Downloader application.
I read this post again yesterday, so I ran the downloader to get the latest images from WotC.
The "official" symbols are not always what is actually used to print the cards.

Perfect example: Dragon's Maze.

The "official" symbol looks like this:
Dragon's Maze_Mythic.gif
Dragon's Maze_Mythic.gif (5.78 KiB) Viewed 8463 times

which clearly has a radial gradient.

The cards look more like this:
DGM_M.png
DGM_M.png (14.18 KiB) Viewed 8463 times

which has a vertical, centered gradient.

Sample card Blood Baron of Vizkopa from the XLHQ file:
Blood Baron of Vizkopa.xlhq.jpg

This has been a public service announcement.
Thank you for reading.

Thanks for pointing this out Qanadhar. If sombody can identify which Gatherer symbols are accurate and which ones are inacurate, I could help fix some of them.

Any plans to construct expansion symbols for "Rivals Quick Start Set" and "Introductory Two-Player Set"?

Cards from those sets had no unique symbols. In some cases the cards inherited the symbols from the original expansions they were printed in.
