MtG Rules Update

Postby triol » 05 Jun 2013, 07:24

I don't know if you are informed that it will be an update in MtG rules that will take effect in July 13, the date of the Magic 2014 Core Set Prerelease.

I think it will generate some changes in Manalink, so I thought it would be better if you're informed early :)

For sideboard changes, no issue since ML3 doesn't have one.

For Legend rules, it's sure going to be fun to recode all that, especially the : choose which legend to bury option :P

For indestructible, at least it will justify some bugs :D (like permanent that give indestructible to all that couldn't give to later cast permanent)

Oracle of Mul Daya : lol this was exactly what AI was doing, bouncing him so he could use the land ability again, incoming nerf!

Well, the legend rule could be updated, but it will take quite some time to recode all the guys / girls from Legends.
For cards like Oracle of Mul Daya, I fear there's little few I could do.
----
- Current / medium term task: adjusting the code for making Misdirection and such usable
- Long term task: inserting all the good stuff I left out from the "Golden Years" mod

Concerning the additional land capacity, it's not really dramatic if the code can't be adjusted, because it only affects a very few situations ;)
