The easiest way should be to download the latest full package from CirothUngol mediafire folder, extract it and it's ready to play.

However, there are many issue that might arise depending on your computer :
What is your computer operating system?
Do you know how to disable visual theme in an executable?
Do you have an antivirus installed and running?
Do you have the Visual C++ libraries installed?

Google traductione powah :mrgreen:

Install Visual C++ Libraries (HERE)
Extract Manalink 3.0 (HERE)
Double-Click MAGIC.EXE.

Please let us know if the game does not operate correctly.

If you choose to extract HERE, your extracting software will directly extract the content of the archive in the same folder, which is to be avoided (I hope you didn't download the archive in the desktop or the C root or it will be a mess :D ).

You need to extract to a specific folder (that you will rename in Magic for example).

hmmm... this seems to be a good example of communication breakdown.

First, be sure to install the Visual C++ Libraries, or the game will not run.

The game is compressed into these two files.
Download both of the files and extract them somewhere (I use 7zip for this).
After they are extracted, the MAGIC.EXE file is located in the \Manalink 3.0\Program\ folder. Double-click on that and the game should run.

@stassy
The Full MediaFire Download is safely sequestered in it's own folder. If you extract the archive to the current folder, it'll still be in the \Manalink 3.0\Program\ folder... nice and neat, no worries. I do try to think of everything. ^_^

You need to disable your antivirus Avira or put Magic.exe into the white list or it will quarantine/delete the executable everytime you try to extract it from the archives.

ok I disabled avira and the game starts, I put on windiws 7. I found peròdue problems: Problem 1 when I create new decks these decks are not present in the gauntlet. Problem 2 and the game crashes often when I play cards like "artificial fever". If possible I would also remove the "rules engine".

When you create a deck, be sure to remember the name of it and try to play it in Duel mode. If you can play in Duel mode you should be able to play against in Gauntlet mode.

There is no such card called "artificiel fever", please check its real name with the official card database :

Removing Rule Engine card is not advised as its removal will make many cards malfunction.

Just a quick reminder...
Unlike choosing "Random Deck" in Solo Duel, which seems to work fine, the randomizer for Gauntlet only seems to use the first 255 PlayDecks. Make sure there are fewer decks than this and try again.

Yes, removing the Rules Engine is a bad idea. A great number of cards in Manalink require it for one reason or another. Besides, it only appears if there are any cards in a player's library that require it (try playing a game using only original Microprose MtG PlayDecks... it doesn't appear). If you still wish to disable it, that setting is available in the config.txt file.
