which version do you mean?briansama wrote:pretty terrible for Commander, even if an opponent has lethal on board for them the AI will attack the player, over and over.
This straight ruins multiplayer AI games.
I play against multiplayer in Vanguard mode@version 1.5.0 it look like AI perform correctly(they still attack each other)but@version1.5.1 it look like they try to gang up on me,they may sometime cast spell to cause disadvantage to other AI player but they never attack each other until human player die.

Is there someway I can just download all the card set images? Every time I try to download through Forge it stops after a few cards and I have to restart the download. (This also happens for all downloads through Forge)

I believe the command file that is my issue. Tried everything else, and the command file is the only thing i tinkered with. The file was not recognized by my computer so I tried opening it with 7-zip, and now it shows the 7-zip logo next to the file instead of the blank white paper looking box it once was. How would I get the command file back to its original settings?
**Update** restored to before the changes were made, re-loaded java 7 and still the same result. I could not find any forge files or decks in the roaming either. I usually can figure out pretty much any issues I have come across when it comes to computers and getting programs and apps to work, but I am truly baffled on this one.

You can re-extract the files from the latest version over your current installation if you're concerned that core files have been altered (such as forge.command.)Dun wrote:I believe the command file that is my issue. If that doesn't work, I'd suggest a clean and portable installation in a different folder. Just extract the contents of the zip, and before running Forge itself make a copy of forge.properties.example, rename it forge.properties, and alter the following three lines in the following manner:
"userDir=" to "userDir=./User/"
"cacheDir=" to "cacheDir=./Cache/"
"cardPicsDir=" to "cardPicsDir=./Pics/"
Then run Forge. It should be completely unaffected by any previous additions or alterations you've made. I'm pretty sure this should work for you.

I changed the forge.properties, but I can not find where to even view userDir=, or cacheDir= and so on. I do not have an apps data behind my C drive. The Roaming folders I found did not have any Forge files in it either. In fact, I couldn't find any Forge Files at all except for what I loaded to my desktop into my forge folder.Diogenes wrote:You can re-extract the files from the latest version over your current installation if you're concerned that core files have been altered (such as forge.command.)Dun wrote:I believe the command file that is my issue. Full path. >Forge 1.5
I can also go through my computer and circle back and the dir would be as follows. > computer > OC(C:) > users > Matt > desktop > Forge1.5
I appreciate your help by the way. I just haven't had an issue like this before.

Ok, your path is "c:\users\matt\desktop\forge1.5". Nothing wrong with that.Dun wrote:Windows 7.

Sorry, I have come to this a bit late. I am not too sure what exactly your issue is. Can you run Forge at all? If you open the above folder in Windows explorer you should see something like

To run forge double click on forge.exe.

Steve

Yes, thats similar to what mine looks like, except a few files are blank logo's. When I open it, the Forge loading screen pops up, loads a bit until it reaches Loading decks... then it just sits on Loading Decks. I let it "Load decks" all night long and still nothing. It just seems to fizzle and freeze on loading decks.spr wrote:Ok, your path is "c:\users\matt\desktop\forge1.5". Nothing wrong with that.Dun wrote:Windows 7.

Don't worry about the blank logos/icons - it just means there is no application associated with that file type.Dun wrote:Yes, thats similar to what mine looks like, except a few files are blank logo's. In Windows explorer type "%appdata%" into the path field at the top. This should take you to your "Roaming" folder which I expect will be something like "C:\Users\Matt\AppData\Roaming" in your case.
You should find a sub-folder called "Forge". Rename it to "Forge.001". This folder contains your personal config data and custom decks etc. Forge should recreate this folder using default settings when you next start it.
Give forge another try and see how far you get.
Cheers,
Steve
