Just wondering if there's any idea of when we can expect double-faced cards in Forge, is anyone trying to implement them or is it being left for now?

I'm tinkering with doublefaced (and flip! why does everyone always leave out flip cards?
) again now but I'm nowhere near done. I'd say at least another beta between now and then. At least. EDIT: This is assuming my idea even works.
Basically, see my last post on the subject.

Cards I'd like to see in forge: (I see them in recents decks)
1. Snapcaster Mage
2. Karn Liberated
3. Liliana of the Veil
4. Summoning Trap
And many of the DF (Double face) cards.

Which is exactly why I would like to use it in Forge, to get a better understanding of it. I didn't know if it was a matter of cards being confusing and no one wanting to attempt it, or if it was a matter of Forge just being completely unable to support it.jeffwadsworth wrote:The chance of this happening anytime soon is near zero. Once we have mostly all of the other cards implemented, we can think about adding banding. It's very difficult to implement and the reward is very small compared to other mechanics.sagephoenix wrote:Which is exactly why I would like to use it in Forge, to get a better understanding of it. If I knew anything about Java I would help. I am expecting to start learning it though, so maybe in the future?Sloth wrote:Once we have mostly all of the other cards implemented, we can think about adding banding. If the developers will introduce DF cards in forge, he would can solve the issue with the AI doesn't blocks with two or more when one card asks this. Because one of the most Werewof card is Kruin Outlaw/Terror of Kruin Pass.
The Terror of Kruin Pass have the effects below:
Double strike
Each Werewolf you control can't be blocked except by two or more creatures.
Thanks

I tried Vesuva once upon a time. I thought it'd be just like Clone. But Forge handles lands differently enough that it was a no go. I was thinking about this while doing some of the mindless in-game downloader coding the last few days. I think it can be done with an Optional ChangesZone trigger with Static$ True and using AF_CopyPermanent. Anyways, when I get a chance, I'm going to try that route. That should allow me to script Clone and fellows too (instead of hard-code).sagephoenix wrote:I second Vesuva.
