Some might consider this a feature, but I still feel bad about (ab)using it and do so anyway: Deck conformance is for the most part checked just before starting a game (so, e.g., you can't begin a match in quest mode with a 39-card deck). However, if you submit a deck that contains ante/dexterity cards but is otherwise legal, those cards will be removed just after the game starts, in effect reducing the minimum deck size. Eat your heart out, Gitaxian Probe and Street Wraith.

So if you feel bad about it, don't do it? We give you just enough rope to hang yourself.

You can just build 60 card decks?
Yeah, but, man, something just feels wrong about it.

In testing the new P2P via LAN, once a game has started the host can press "play" the host will then draw his hand, and can decide to keep, mulligan, etc. However, the connected opponent does not draw a hand, but is still able to keep/mulligan once he gains priority. Upon choosing to keep or mulligan, this error comes up. This has happened every time while trying to play Commander, Modern, and Momir Basic. I have not tested with other modes.

Just wanted to say, thanks to the developers for all your time and effort. I've had a lot of fun revisiting old memories these last few days since I downloaded Forge. Hats off to you!

The problem is, everybody else doesn't want to play with that restriction.

I had a Withengar Unbound on the battlefield, equipped with Elbrus, the Binding Blade. I dealt damage with the Withengar Unbound to a player which made the Elbrus transform into another Withengar Unbound. When I was asked to choose which of the Withengar Unbound I want to keep I wanted to select the newly transformed (untapped) one but Forge didn't let me. So I had to choose the tapped one that I attacked with.

Not so much a bug, but a suggestion: Tablet of the Guilds has you pick two colors from a menu. CTRL-clicking will allow you to choose two at a time, but this isn't immediately apparent. A tool tip would clear that up.

I believe I found a bug, and I hope I am posting this in the right place. I activated Havengul lich's ability (pay 1 and cast a card from a graveyard) a dialog popped up and I selected prophet of kruphix, it put havengul lich on the stack and had me pay one.. and the stack was empty. I have various lands in play and kruphix, god of horizons and 3 knight tokens. ai has various lands a hunted dragon, and a silver inlaid dagger. hope that helps

Please read the link in my signature, this thread is for 4 releases ago. (We're currently on .43) I can't tell if you are trying to report for .40 or actually just didn't see .43 up above (it should be stickied?)

I apologize, it was for this version. after i posted I realized i was using an old version and ended up downloading 1.5.41.... so i am still running an outdated version. I haven't ran forge in about a year and the first google link takes me here http://www.slightlymagic.net/wiki/Forge stating .41 is latest and the link points to a .40 download lol so i thought this was the latest. i feel like an idiot. three revisions in a month though? that's quite impressive! I will download .43 and try to recreate the problem. thanks

The developers try to release a beta every two weeks. Occasionally it won't quite work out that way, but it usually does.
