The first run for me after booting (Windows 8, Java 8) always takes a minute or two. After that it loads in a couple seconds until I restart my computer again.elcnesh wrote:Sometimes (far too often actually) booting Forge takes quite a while... Especially loading the cards usually takes about 2 minutes. This is quite a pain when debugging. However, sometimes it only takes 2 seconds. I haven't been able to figure out what causes it to be fast or slow. Does anyone else experience the same behaviour, or perhaps has an idea what causes it?

I have at times noticed the same thing when launching Forge from within Eclipse. Launching the beta/snapshot Forge releases tend not to show the same lengthy pauses unless I have a lot of deck files.
Does your run config use the default java heap space or have you increased the VM argument.

I tried with increased memory, it might have helped a little (it's a bit random so I'm not sure). Thanks!

Hello!
My problem on late -09 macbook pro with Maverics is that I can not accept a victory in fantasy quest mode (haven't tried other modes).
After I win a match there comes the rewards and a 'Great' button where you need to press to continue to 'lobby'. I can't push that button, but have to close the game which leads to the wins not recording, so no rewards what so ever appear. Losses are fine since after losing a game I can normally press 'OK' button to continue to lobby.
I hope you can help me since I'm lacking ideas of what to do about this...

^updating java solved that problem, but now the same thing occurs if I win any achievement in a match.

Hey guys,
I have an issue with Forge using a Mac, it won't launch:
Forge 1.5.39, OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 and Java 8u45 x64
"No java runtime present, requesting install".
Any idea what's wrong?
Thanks!

I think you need to install the Java Development Kit as well.Stampedo wrote:Hey guys,

I'm sure that the info pertaining to this will also be for Java 8 as well.

I while back i tried to mess with the card picture file. Since then I haven't been able to download any new card pictures. Where is the card picture file? And how do I access it? Are they hidden?

I Goose!
Yes on iOS, the Pics folder is hidden. On your Desktop, locate the upper task bar and find "Go".
Then push alt on your Keyboard and click "Library" who magically appear on the list
Then:
"Library/Cache/Forge/Pics" and push all pics inside
Be careful if you are using softs like "Clean my Mac" cause it clean all the Cache folder every time so make a new exception before
Sorry, my english is so awful...I wish you understand a little
