I thought exactly the same thing so I did it as well
Great work! I'm really stuck! The feature which gives you the option to put in breakpoints in phases is the best thing ever.
It makes it soooo much more fun to play because it becomes sooo fast!
I'm playing the quest mode so the it not that advanced and just for fun.
There's some bugs but nothing much which prevents you from playing.
I'm looking forward to the feature where you can play against each other and you'll get a notification when it's your turn to act. I might be quite slow but when you play it live it will be great!
Excellent work! Thanks!

I just released 1.5.39.001, which, in addition to including recent fixes released with the 1.5.38 Beta, includes new support for importing decklists from the clipboard. You simply copy a decklist to the clipboard from the forums or a text editor, open the app, and click a new "Import from Clipboard" option in the deck editor menu. You'll then see a dialog like this, with the same options available on the Import dialog of the desktop application. Then all you have to do is click "Import" and you'll have your deck.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thanks.

I think some cards are missing now. The import from clipboard feature works great except I noticed my imported EDH deck only had 98 cards. Turns out Ertai's Meddling is missing. It doesn't show up when I search the catalog and the catalog also shows exactly 14500 unique cards. I seem to remember a different total before the update.

Not sure what you mean by "now", Ertai's Meddling has never been in Forge. See the Remaining Cards portion of the most recent release:johnny5ive wrote:I think some cards are missing now. Thanks for the reply. I had no idea that every card wasn't already in Forge. It's probably obvious too, like right in the OP or something.friarsol wrote:Not sure what you mean by "now", Ertai's Meddling has never been in Forge. I just released 1.5.39.003, which includes a couple visual fixes so card images appear properly in certain list dialogs, as well as a usability enhancement so you're not forced to choose the order of identical triggered abilities or replacement effects. The latter enhancement will also apply to the desktop version's next snapshot build and release.

First of all please accept my devout salute to the guys who ever made contributions for such a great work on Android assets. Now I'm glad to take out my tablet and kill some boring time on the subway instead of being a tree just hang in the car.
OK let's come straight to the point, I have a tiny query - not a concern or issue, just a query about the card display in Android Forge.I'm using high resolution pic downloaded directly from MTGimage - God bless the placeholder, but according to my vision, seems Forge doesn't maintain and display these pic efficiently. I'm trying open the pic with my tablet original photo program turns out the quality of the pic is wonderful and the pic edge is smooth, I can't even see the jag in the pic. When I check the same card pic in Forge, I can see obvious jag in it and the jag will be much clearer if I hold the press to switch to the bigger pic mode.
I DO NOT think this is a kind of big deal, I mean at all actually. Just a query.

Is there any chance you have both HQ and LQ images on your tablet? It's possible Forge might be discovering the LQ image instead of the HQ image. Probably the easiest way to check would be to temporarily delete one of the HQ images and confirm that that card now displays the placeholder in Forge.Jvy32 wrote:OK let's come straight to the point, I have a tiny query - not a concern or issue, just a query about the card display in Android Forge.I'm using high resolution pic downloaded directly from MTGimage - God bless the placeholder, but according to my vision, seems Forge doesn't maintain and display these pic efficiently. If that's not it, I'm honestly not sure what the problem could be. Is anyone else who has HQ images experiencing similar problems?

Hey Dan, this is just an assumption on my part.
Displaying the HQ pics on a tablet original photo program should display the card pic at full size rather than scaling the pic down to a smaller size.
When the Forge app scales the pic down to a smaller size the pic in the android version may show some signs of jaggies.
Is the android app using the same logic to scale pics down to a small size as the forge desktop app?

I just released 1.5.39.004, which includes a fix for a bug I introduced that would cause you to get prompted to select the order of triggered abilities more than once.

No, it's letting OpenGL handle the scaling during render. So that's probably why the HQ images don't look quite as good. I can look into this if it's a concern, or else someone else could.Chris H. wrote:When the Forge app scales the pic down to a smaller size the pic in the android version may show some signs of jaggies.

Thanks for the update. I found a new bug introduced in the 1.5.39.004 build, zoomed card images are only displaying the card backs.drdev wrote:I just released 1.5.39.004, which includes a fix for a bug I introduced that would cause you to get prompted to select the order of triggered abilities more than once.

Thanks again for all of the excellent work. It's my most used app on my phone and is an excellent way to get my magic addiction fix when no one is available to play.If I didn't have three children to feed and cloth,(or if I could justify it to my wife lol) I would totally donate as often as I could. I am also having the same trouble viewing the zoomed in cards with the latest update. Only card backs for me as well. Thought you should know and thanks again for Forge
