As far as I know it's not possible to run this on an Android device. You'll have to manually transfer them after downloading them on your computer.sirgubster9 wrote:Is there a version of this program that would work on an android tablet or android phone? or is the best way to work with this to use the app on my computer and then transfer over the new sets by copying and pasting and what not?

Any way to suggest for a topic to be pinned? This seems important enough to be pinned to the board

Well that sucks. I'm not aware of any other sites that could replace this site and I have no idea where to get the HQ pics otherwise.

There's a capture on Internet Archive

It's useful in some way?

Not high-res, unfortunately.ChronoJack wrote:Maybe http://magiccards.info/

The actual card images wouldn't be archived and they've been entirely removed from mtgimage.com.hurloon wrote:There's a capture on Internet Archive

magic cards info might not be high-res, but it's still miles ahead of the LQ picture quality, and as far as I know, there is no convenient way to get card images that aren't visibly blurry besides what we were using before our old source got shut down. Personally, I would love to have images that at least look good, even if they aren't technically HQ.
I'm super thankful for you Krazy. I love Forge, and you're a huge part of putting it all together. I really loved the HQ images you had going for a while, and I hope you or at least someone works out some sort of suitable replacement. They really add a lot.

I hadn't noticed that. You're right; they do look quite a bit better. I'll look into it next time I have programming time. I've got several projects going on right now including full time programming at work. I'm a little burnt out.slyfox7777777 wrote:magic cards info might not be high-res, but it's still miles ahead of the LQ picture quality,

Proxies from http://deckstats.net/ are 480px × 680px, example:

So I've developed a little something that should download images from magiccards(.)info, and I have a message sent to the site's administrators to make sure it's cool to distribute such a thing.
I threw that together yesterday before seeing the most recent post here from correioalternativo. After doing some light research I'm not quite sure who I would contact at mtg-forum.de to ask to use their images. I also don't speak a lot of German so that is an issue as well.
If anyone can find something on either site that straight up says it's cool to use their images; I'd be cool with releasing it after a few more tweaks.
