Situation:
Tolarian Entrancer is blocked by a creature (e.g., Onulet). In response to Tolarian Entrancer's ability triggering during the Declare Blockers step, the attacker activates Vodalian Illusionist to phase out the Onulet.
Expected behavior:
Once Onulet phases out, it should be treated as if it does not exist (702.25b). When Vodalian Illusionist's trigger resolves during the End of Combat step, the Onulet does not exist; therefore, the attacker cannot gain control of it.
Actual behavior:
The Onulet phases out during the Declare Blockers step, then the attacker gains control of the still-phased-out Onulet at the End of Combat step..

- When I try to activate Mogg Assassin, after I selected a target, the ability is automatically cancelled. Seems as if AI refuses to target one of my creatures. I control the Crocodile Pet, if that matters, but the Mogg Assassin should be a legal target though.

This is just Forge FAQ #11. Basically it means "This many cards don't have pictures" not "This many cards don't have pictures that are available on the server to download"Zankyrius wrote:why updating forge is so difficult?

Situation:
User casts Firestorm on the opposing player, their Prodigal Sorcerer, and their Wall of Wood, for a total of three targets. The game prompts the user to pay one red mana, which the player does.
Actual behavior:
The game prompts the user to discard two cards, then deals two damage to each of the three targets.

Might be, sorry, I didn't mean for anyone to waste time testing.friarsol wrote:I just tested this and it worked fine for me. I think this is just confirmation bias.
Might have been something obvious about the code.

Something is wrong with Mana Reflection. With nothing else on the battlefield that would affect things other than the reflection, I get 4 mana per card.

This was posted in the Android version thread. drdev requested that this get posted here as well.Hi,
I found an issue with Suppression Field and shocklands; when you have Suppression Field out on the field and then go to play a shockland (I was using Temple Garden) the game asks you to pay 2 mana, if you hit cancel (because who wants to pay mana to play a land) the shockland stays in your hand and you are then unable to play any more lands that turn.
Fetchlands also cause an issue, you pay 2 mana and 1 life to activate them, fetch a shock and the game asks you to pay 2 mana, if you hit cancel the shock stays in the deck and the fetch goes to the graveyard.
I tested this 2x times and was able to get the same result both times.

Got a problem with Lazav, Dimir Mastermind in combination with Death's Approach. If I kill any creature the opponent controls with the Death's Approach and then try to copy the card put into the graveyard, Lazav dies instantly as if he were not the copy but the original card itself? Is this part of the known graveyard trigger problems?

Not sure if this isn't just being stupid, but when playing Ad nauseum - Lightning Storm combo, there isn't a time where lands can be discarded, despite lightning storm being on the stack. Clicking the lands while Lightning Storm is on the stack does nothing, and click ok just causes the spell to resolve doing 3 damage to the opponent.
Any help would be appreciated

Did you try clicking on the Lightning Bolt in the player panel to Activate the Lightning Storm? That's where we put all cards that have activations that aren't in your Hand or on the Battlefield.Elaer wrote:Not sure if this isn't just being stupid, but when playing Ad nauseum - Lightning Storm combo, there isn't a time where lands can be discarded, despite lightning storm being on the stack. Little bug with Marchesa, the Black Rose I had earlier.
Scenario:
I controled Marchesa and Grave Betrayal and a Phyrexian Altar.
My opponent had a Sire of Insanity.
I Terminate 'd the Sire of Insanity when my Op Declared Attackers
Grave Betrayal's triggered
Skip to endstep, Sire of Insanity enters play under my control
I sac it for mana
It returns to play to my opponents control the following endste[
Now many people may have not noticed Marchesa'a exact rules text but here: Whenever a creature you control with a +1/+1 counter on it dies, return that card to the battlefield under your control at the beginning of the next end step.

Tricky one.
Disclaimer: I might not be getting what the correct behavior is at all, but Forge's UI messages seem straightforward enough.
I'm trying out a decklist I found somewhere to test flickering effects.
So, I have Venser, the Sojourner, Stonehorn Dignitary AND Conjurer's Closet on the field.
Venser exiles Dignitary. At the beginning of the end step, two concurrent effects trigger: one is the Dignitary entering the field again; the other is the Closet's own exile effect targeting a creature.
Forge prompts me for ordering these effects.
Now, no matter what I choose, Conjurer's Closet applies first and I have to select a new creature, instead of a just-reappeared Stonehorn Dignitary, whom I thought I could flicker again netting another (stackable) skip_combat_effect for the opponent.

The targeting of the Closet happens when the trigger goes onto the stack. This is occurring at the same time as the other trigger going on the stack. The Dignitary isn't actually on the battlefield at this time, even if you order them in such a way where the Dignitary comes back before the Closet resolves.mastroego wrote:Venser exiles Dignitary. If the Closet didn't target, then if you ordered them properly, you could double flicker the way you are hoping.

Prophetic Flamespeaker gets buggy if you have something like Thalia, Guardian of Thraben out.
For example, if I try to play a Swords to Plowshares revealed by Flamespeaker and Thalia is on the battlefield, it asks me to pay 1W and then 1 again.
Also, if I'm playing a spell and I use Simian Spirit Guide from my hand to pay for it, it gives me an error (everytime). If I use the Spirit Guide to generate mana to my pool and then after that play the spell, then it goes smoothly.
