And I think there's similar thing with convoke, where the convoke option appears when it's impossible to use.elcnesh wrote:DoneMarek14 wrote:Would it be possible to not display the delve dialog when the only option is to exile 0 cards? (Which can happen either if your graveyard is empty or if you cast the spell without paying the mana cost.)

It would be better to remove the prompt message after use of Æther Vial. If player is tapping vial, he probably expects to search hand with it.

I noticed the "Auto-yield" option for triggers. It's awesome and it'll save me a lot of clicking! It would be even more awesome if there was also an "Auto-yield and always yes" option to save me even more clicking.

Plus, even if he does search his hand, he doesn't have to put anything onto the battlefield. In ideal world, the game also wouldn't give you meaningless choices (like whether to untap Nettle Sentinel or not when it's untapped or no longer on the battlefield), but that would probably require major reworking with lots of corner cases.Hexadecimal wrote:It would be better to remove the prompt message after use of Æther Vial. This actually can be useful. Sure, one can always tap before using playing the creature, but you may still tap the Nettle Sentinel (via an ability for example) while the untap trigger is on the stack.Marek14 wrote:(like whether to untap Nettle Sentinel or not when it's untapped [...])
Just sayin'

This case is different though, as you said it will require a lot of work, since it's ability on the stack which can be important in card interactions.Marek14 wrote:Plus, even if he does search his hand, he doesn't have to put anything onto the battlefield. In Vial's case, removing message is easy and won't affect gameplay in negative way, since it's not part of the game process and don't interact with anything. If only all activated abilities had this kind of message before activation, gameplay would've been much more frustrating. I'm only asking to make it work just like all other cards for consistency and convenience.
And in other similiar cases too. Removing redundant prompt messages that doesn't use stack should help in reducing unnecessary micromanagement and fill the freed space with fun.

Not really. The decision whether to use the ability or not is on resolution. If Nettle Sentinel is untapped at this time, the decision is meaningless.Nordos wrote:This actually can be useful. Is seems currently Forge stores only 3 sorting priorities for different windows. So for example if I sort quest editor pool by name->type->set->rarity, sorting by name will be discarded after closing window. It would be better if this number was increased.

Another +1 for the Tiny Leaders format. I like to sanity test decks in Forge before buying the cards IRL, and my playgroup is adding Tiny Leaders to the rotation. Thanks!

I'd like an option for more transparent checking if the token art is available, and maybe the ability to check all possible token art from within Forge itself.
Coming back to Forge after a 2 year absence and the client barely recognises any tokens generated by the older cards. They're actually in the directory too and named after the appropriate naming scheme: colour_power_toughness_creaturetype but I don't get it, and having to check manually by loading a token generating deck each time is a pain.

There was a change in token pictures in the meantime -- if a token has multiple printings, each card is coded to use a picture from the correct era. The other version of tokens are called colour_power_toughness_creaturetype_setcode.saturnine wrote:I'd like an option for more transparent checking if the token art is available, and maybe the ability to check all possible token art from within Forge itself.

Oh, god. I guess my request still stands, though—I'll probably just go through all the sets I missed and add the tokens manually. Thanks for the tip!Marek14 wrote:There was a change in token pictures in the meantime -- if a token has multiple printings, each card is coded to use a picture from the correct era.
