That's correct behaviour. If tribute wasn't paid, then the Fanatic of Xenagos gains haste and a +1/+1 bonus that both expire at the end of the turn.sriracha wrote:A couple of things:
When I try and access the mantis bug db, I get a 404 error for each of the links in the "how to file a bug" page that leads to that bug system.
A bug: Fanatic of Xenagos.
If Frozen Aether is out on my side, and the AI casts Fanatic of Xenagos and I decline to put a counter on it, it comes in tapped, does gain haste, but never fulfills the battlefield entry condition of a +1/+1 counter being placed on in and once it untaps, it is a 3/3 creature.
This is repeatable. Tested using forge 1.5.46 on OSX 10.10.5 with the AI playing the Landslide Charge preconstructed deck.

Started using Forge Beta: 10-02-2015 ver 1.5.46. on 10/23/15
The game ran fine for the first day with no apparent issues. The next day I received an error when I tried to launch the program. I've tried to uninstall, reinstall numerous times including updating Java to current version and rolling Java back to previous versions. I'm using Windows 10 Home with Intel Core i7 2.67ghz, 8gb Ram.

I used Rings of Brighthearth to copy the ability of Candelabra of Tawnos where X was 1, but the copy allowed me to untap all my lands instead of just 1. (706.10)

Small Bug:
Kiora, Master of the Depths' second loyalty ability requires you to select both a creature and a land if you are able to do so. For example, you cannot choose to put only a creature card into your hand if there is also a legal target for a land in the revealed cards.

Hm, does Gift of the Gargantuan have the same problem?kingkarate1 wrote:Small Bug:

I noticed that Prototype Portal and Soul Foundry handle mana payments differently for their activated abilities. Prototype portal asks for the converted mana cost of the imprinted card, while Soul Foundry asks you to choose X, then pay that amount. I think the behavior of Prototype Portal is more correct, since the rules text states the value of X, so I modified soul_foundry.txt to more closely match prototype_portal.txt and am attaching the result. I have tested Soul Foundry with these changes and have not noticed any problems. For good measure, I also used Strionic Resonator to verify that Prototype Portal correctly handles multiple imprinted cards, and it does.

Ah - my bad: reading the text made it seem like the counter persisted and the haste was transient.ZzzzSleep wrote:That's correct behaviour. If tribute wasn't paid, then the Fanatic of Xenagos gains haste and a +1/+1 bonus that both expire at the end of the turn.
Thanks.

It's very hard to achieve the mythic BlackJack-achievement in commander, because even when my commander is dealing 300 damage to my opponent with one attack, I win the game because my opponent has 0 life, and not because my commander have dealed 21 damage to one opponent.

Chiming in on the Dromoka's Command bug: I chose "fight" and then "sac enchantment" but never got to target an opponent's creature.

But you can choose the deck your opponent uses, so you could give him a deck that does nothing but increase his life total....Thrun wrote:It's very hard to achieve the mythic BlackJack-achievement in commander, because even when my commander is dealing 300 damage to my opponent with one attack, I win the game because my opponent has 0 life, and not because my commander have dealed 21 damage to one opponent.

Sorin Markov's second ability is wrong.
You can only choose an opponent, but in Forge you can choose a player.

It looks like "Talon of Pain" is (still?) broken. The log shows the AI played a mountain, cast Talon of Pain and then activated Talon of Pain targeting one of my creatures.
As there were no creatures in play on the AI's side, and it had not cast any spell this turn to do damage, having literally just cast the Talon it could not have any counters on it, and so should not have been able to do damage.
It had cast a Barbed Lightning two turns prior to the current one, but unless I misunderstand the card, it's not retroactive damage that should place tokens on the Talon.

to be fair, the AI does say it has a hard time playing this card.sriracha wrote:It looks like "Talon of Pain" is (still?) broken.
