Java problem? Can't find path.
by dannnnv » 28 Nov 2015, 20:54
I recently updated Java,
Now whenever I try to start Forge, I get this message:
"The registry refers to a nonexistant Java Runtime Enviromnent Installation or the runtime is corrupted.
The system cannot find the path specified."
I can't find where the program looks for the path, so I can't correct it!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd try reinstalling Java although there might be a faster way to solve this if you're comfortable editing the Windows registry (or the equivalent in Mac and Linux if you're using those systems.)

This can be an issue with newer versions of java. Easiest fix is to edit the registry
