Removing Forge
by Chris Masters » 17 Apr 2016, 17:50
Hello everyone,
I want to start Froge from scratch and get rid of everything, because i get alot of erros while playing and Forge crashes often.
I downloaded the newst version of Forge but that did not helpat all, there are also all my old profilea, decks and such.
I want to remove every single bit of Forge and setup everything from new.
How do i completly remove everything that is related to Forge from my PC?

Depending on where your OS save your Forge user data , the profile and your custom decks should be located in
C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Forge\
or
C:\Users\<yourusername>\Application Data\Roaming\Forge\
or
C:\Documents and Settings\<yourusername>\Application Data\Forge\
The card pictures are also there (in the Cache subfolder), so maybe you don't want to delete that Cache subfolder in order to avoid having to redownload them.
But deleting the achievements, decks, gauntlet, preferences and quest subfolders should be helpful in case one or more of the files in there is bugged.
Of course you'll lose your quests data but in case a file is corrupted, it's unavoidable i think.
Your new version of Forge will recreate those subfolders.

probably outdated by now so you should avoid : Innistrad world for Forge (updated 17/11/2014)
Duel Decks for Forge - Forge custom decks (updated 25/10/2014)

I dont mind to redownload everything as long as it fixes Forge.
Is there a way to tell Forge to store all this data on another HDD?
Because my C: is very small because it's for my system only and the HD pictures eat alot of space.
I will try to get rid of everything now and redownload Forge.

You can configure where Forge looks for card pictures and data in the settings.
