Forge 01/17 (unofficial BETA) version

This release should address some of the performance issues the last few versions had.
However, Heap Space errors might still occur, in that case either increase allocated memory for your Java, or just use LQ Images.
By the way, I did not include the source with this version (get it at the SVN instead: http://code.google.com/p/cardforge/ ), since there were many external libraries added into this version, and its filesize is quite large already (with source and external libraries it would be 20+ megs!)
2646 cards in total.
Features/Fixes:
- Chris fixed Aggressive Urge, Might of Oaks, Guided Strike.
- Vasiliy added functionality for hitting "enter" in the card search filter, very handy!
- Fixed Dakmor Ghoul CIP text.
- Chris Replaced "Computer is thinking" with "An error may have occurred. Please send the STACK REPORT to the Forge forum."
- Fixed Pit Scorpion.
- Fixed some of the "Sacrifice a creature" spells ("destroy" effects would sometimes not happen).
- Fixed Merrow Harbinger.
- Fixed Cloudseeder.
- Goblin Chieftain should only pump controlled Goblins.
- Fixed Ajani Vengeant (second ability).
- Added some tweaks to AI counterspells.
- Added various Look and Feel options (for some of them, make sure to toggle on options-> use LAF fonts).
- Fixed Karmic Guide.
- Eviscerator should only be played by the AI if his lifetotal is larger than 7.
- Fixed Merfolk Sovereign AI targeting.
- Fixed Sarkhan Vol second ability.
- Added some code to Knight of the Reliquary which should make it attack more often when controlled by the AI.
- Fixed Lhurgoyf.
- Planeswalkers shouldn't get -1/-1 counters anymore if damaged by creatures with Wither.
- Added caching to large images (thanks to Nantuko, Snacko and Silly Freak for all of the help!), hopefully this will help with the memory leak problem.
- Fixed Zendikar HQ image links.
- Made many performance improvements (using FindBugs).
- Fixed Sarkhan Vol and Ajani Goldmane token controllership issues. Also fixed Ajani Goldmane lifegain after a different player takes control of it.
- Memnarch's first ability will put the Artifact type at the beginning of the type text (so "Artifact Planeswalker - Ajani" instead of Planeswalker - Ajani Artifact).
- Planeswalkers with the same "subtype" should get destroyed correctly now if there are two or more in play, even if one of them got "Memnarched" into an artifact.
- Fixed Mutavault.
- After taking control of it, Elspeth's ult should correctly affect the controller's creatures now.
- Echoing Truth will remove tokens from the game, instead of destroying them.
- Chris fixed colors of the man lands (Faerie Conclave, Forbidding Watchtower, Svogthos, the Restless Tomb, Treetop Village).

By the way, Chris was having some trouble displaying large images (on the right hand side) with this version, does anyone else have this problem?

The system said that there were no new cards to download.
I did copy my old pics folder int the new build.

Strange, they should be there... if you start up the deck editor in the latest version, how many cards does it say it has? (it should say Total - 2646).

Then you're running the 01/01 version somehow... or you overwrote the cards.txt file from the previous version, the top 4 cards of /res/cards.txt should look like this:

Oh I see, that's a bug right there... the option is meant to say "Use LAF Fonts", but I guess I'm forgetting to include some property file.
Because there are so many "Look and Feels" added that have their own font settings, I added this option.
Try setting it to the Napkin LAF setting for example (options->display options->Napkin). It will look totally different with the font setting on or off.

I have downloaded and ran some tests on this new version. The jpg pictures are displayed in the deck editor.
On the battlefield, only the very small jpg images located in the zones are seen. I do not get to see any of the jpgs below the card detail panel. I have tried both the HQ and the LQ jpg pictures.

all rarities for Forge 01-17-2010
This archive contains updated rarity files for Forge 01-17-2010. I added the missing rarity values for the new cards that were included in version 01-17-2010. This set is not compatible with earlier versions of Forge.
This archive now contains only one set of rarity files. These files have had a rarity value assigned to all of the cards except for the basic lands, basic snow lands, and Rares three fantasy cards.
As of version 10-02-2009 these rarity files now go inside of the res folder and are now of no use to you if you place them in the root folder. You can place a copy inside of the res folder and a second copy inside of the quest folder.

Yes, I haven't had a chance yet to test this on a mac... I assume that's why it won't work.
