Forge 02/26 (Unofficial Beta version)

Forge 02/26 (Unofficial Beta version)

Again, mostly bug fixes this version. Few new cards.

2763 cards in total.

Fixes/Features:

- Fixed Avenger of Zendikar (will put counters on changeling creatures).
- Fixed a bug with Rith, the Awakener (his tokens were named "Saprolig").
- Fixed Elvish Farmer (should make more tokens combined with Doubling Season).
- Fixed Karakas.
- Added an alternate way of sacrificing multiple tokens using Nemata, Grove Guardian (experimental).
- Fixed Wort, Boggart Auntie / Squee, Goblin Nabob card duplication bug.
- Hopefully fixed a bug with the AI using Ajani Vengeant, and not being able to target any permanents.
- Hardcoded NOT to grab Ball Lightning / Groundbreaker with Bribery for the AI (since it has been reported so many times).
- Fixed Korlash, Heir to Blackblade (should be able to fetch any 2 swamps now - select with CTRL + click).
- AbPump creatures that have shroud or that cannot be targeted by themselves should be able to use their pump abilities (e.g. Stillmoon Cavalier).
- AI shouldn't try to cast spDestroyTgt cards on untargetable creatures anymore.
- If a double strike creature with trample gets blocked and it kills the blocker with first strike damage, afterward it should deal full regular damage to the player.
- Fixed a bug with Propaganda where it would check multiple times per attack turn.
- Updated Prodigal sorcerer-like cards to use abDamageTgtCP (thanks Almost Clever and Chris!), this will trigger lifelink and deathtouch.
- Updated copyCard in CardFactory.java, it will actually reference the different CardFactories now to make the correct copy (fixes Planeswalkers returning from a bounced/destroyed Oblivion Ring).
- Fixed Devour crashes (when there's no other creatures to sacrifice).
- Fixed Dark Depths.
- AI will only cast Wrath of God and use Nevinyrral's Disk during Main2.
- Mogg War Marshal and Goblin Marshal shouldn't produce flying tokens anymore, also their creature type was "Goblin " (with an extra space).
- Lifelink / Guilty Conscience should work properly now on cards like Sparksmith and Goblin Artillery.
- Fixed Ball Lightning creature type.
- Added Rob's spLoseLife[Tgt] keyword (allowed a few new cards).

New cards:

- A few new spLoseLife[Tgt] keyword cards.
- Exhume.
- Living Death (thank you Zen!)
- Join the Ranks.
- Virulent Sliver.

Thanks guys. You guys put a lot of your spare time into coding this game. Again, thank you.

How long until one of you loses his job because you were coding a card or fixing a bug in Forge while at work? :wink:

AC made a contribution a few revs ago and we forgot to mention that he had added several jpg urls to the card-pictures-token.txt file. Finding token images on magic card market can be at times like looking for a needle in a hay stack. Thank you for your help on this AC. :)

Several months ago I discovered by accident that WotC's multiverseid pic url system has token images included with their card images. I unfortunately am not able to figure out this system to the point where I could update the card-pictures-token.txt file with the other missing token urls.

all rarities for Forge 02-26-2010

This archive contains updated rarity files for Forge 02-26-2010. I added the missing rarity values for the new cards that were included in version 02-26-2010. This set is not compatible with earlier versions of Forge.

This archive now contains only one set of rarity files. These files have had a rarity value assigned to all of the cards except for the basic lands, basic snow lands, and Rares three fantasy cards.

As of version 10-02-2009 these rarity files now go inside of the res folder and are now of no use to you if you place them in the root folder. You can place a copy inside of the res folder and a second copy inside of the quest folder.

Isn't "Sac at EOT" a keyword already, which should be part of calculating the best creature/permanent?

Err why not? I cannot think of a single situation where it wouldn't be optimal, as:
a)It would be automatically visible.
b)It is easy to apply/check/work with.

I don't know if this has been hitting others or not. Ever since about 3 revisions ago I have not been able to use the change picture button. Also the game's not downloading any worldwake pictures.

Forge will only download the LQ Worldwake pics at this time. HQ Worldwake pics will hopefully be added later.

Warren Instigator is allowing me to drop goblins from my hand when I do damage to creatures in combat but not to my opponent and it is only supposed to do that when I damage my opponent ONLY according to the card text.

Great update Dennis, I love the thought of Sparksmith + Lifelink.

That is my fault. I coded Bribery ages ago and just grabbed the creature with the highest attack.
