enemy hat 7 Life, while i have Athreos, God of Passage and i sacrifice Festering Newt for Bubbling Cauldron
now the stack is:
[enemy pay 3 life or return Newt to owners hand]
[enemy lose 4 life and gain 4 life]
because he has currently enough life (7 > 3) he thinks he can pay that, even if he will lose life in the next step on the stack.

AI does not use Hammer of Purphoros to make a last token when I destroy it, leaving it dead on board.
AI does not bestow Hypnotic Siren.
AI casts Siren of the Fanged Coast when I have no creature.
AI holds a bunch of lands including a temple, has no plays, plays basic land instead of temple.
AI untaps lands with Voyaging Satyr after casting spells. Does not use them to ramp by floating mana.

Well, to be fair, Hammer of Purphoros requires sacrificing a land. Depending on situation, I might not try to squeeze the last activation from it either.Xyx wrote:AI does not use Hammer of Purphoros to make a last token when I destroy it, leaving it dead on board.

You would if your opponent has lethal.

You didn't specify that, though.Xyx wrote:You would if your opponent has lethal.

The "it" in "leaving it dead on board" refers to the AI, not the hammer.

AI is activating Wall of Roots for no reason when it blocks or takes damage. AI also taps lands when they're about to be destroyed - perhaps the two are connected?

The AI always untaps Fallen Empires storage lands instead of leaving them tapped to get storage counters.

AI tries to use Spinerock Knoll every turn, even when I haven't been dealt any damage, so the ability fizzles.

The AI will pay 3 life to prevent a dying token from returning to my hand when I have Athreos, God of Passage on the battlefield. This is a pleasantly suboptimal choice.

Playing vs Alice in Wonderland Quest deck. The AI doesn't seem to want to use it's Maze of Ith against my 2/1 token, instead taking a bunch of damage it doesn't need to. It also doesn't seem to want to activate it's Wastelands. Even though it had plenty of extra lands in play (luckily for me)

AI doesn't seem to understand how Soul Scourge works. I cast two, and in both cases AI killed them before their ETB ability resolved, resulting in losing 3 life permanently. If it killed them after letting the ability resolve, it woul lose 3 life and then gain them back.

AI can't play any soul sisters deck properly because it considers Soul Warden and Soul's Attendant to be worthless, won't play them unless he has nothing else to do, and will choose any other creature before them when given the chance to pick one from his library (by Ranger of Eos for example).
The whole idea here is to play them as soon as possible and in any case before any other creature.
AI also rarely tries to remove these cards when playing against such a deck, probably for the same reason.
Giving them a much higher priority might just fix it all and probably won't affect any other deck or situation.
If you can fix that, don't forget Essence Warden.

AI doesn't understand how Norin the Wary works at all.
If AI has a 2/2 creature and I have Norin on the battlefield, AI won't attack even though Norin can't block.
It also tries to get rid of Norin with spells sometimes to the point of using a Lightning Bolt and then responding to Norin's triggered ability by casting a second bolt which only triggers the ability again.
Thanks in advance.
