Here is a skin based on the Forge default skin that uses different kinds of stained glass effects. I've included some screen shots:

The battle screen uses a smaller centered image of two seahorses with Hawaii in the background. The stained glass seahorses are virtual and were created from an entirely flat image. The placement of the image doesn't interfere with or distract from the game.

The splash screen and the stained glass Serra Angel in the upper left corner of the choose opponent screen were the most difficult to create.

This skin is in honor of my Dad who enjoys playing golf. I prefer playing Forge and looking at the forge-shaped sand trap while the game loads.

When I plundered the pharaoh's tomb a year ago, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Yet, I couldn't shake this feeling that someone or something was watching me from the shadows. What if the basic lands in Forge each represented an advanced alien race? Suppose one or more of them decided to attack Earth. Red might use fire-based spells or weaponry. Green could turn even the smallest creatures into huge monsters with giant growth rays. Black would use teleporters to send ground units right to your doorstep.

Then again, other alien races might use tractor beams and steal Forge for themselves or hover threateningly over a city observing mankind's strengths and weaknesses. That's the idea behind the alien_invasion skin. Now you can watch the action unfold every time you play your favorite game.

Julian Beever is a British chalk artist who has been creating 3D chalk drawings on pavement surfaces since the mid-1990s. Although all of his drawings are flat, they completely fool the brain. Notice the depth of the Spider-Man image on the splash screen. Now compare that to the height and width he gives the butterfly on the choose opponent screen and the frog on the battle screen.
