I've attached another sound. I don't really know what it's supposed to be but maybe it can find a home Perhaps untap or equip or sorcery...
Interesting sound, it may work as the untap sound.

Good job on the Equip sound, and I like the previous one by bigapple90, I agree it could work as the untap sound!

Threw this sound together for the black mana etb sound from a few freesound.org clips. (Sound editing isn't my greatest strength so have no objection to it not being used )
EDIT: And here's one for green lands. Might be a bit pitchy after a while?

Hi,
I don't know if you are thinking about adding music to Forge (as an optional feature of course). Anyway, I've found some music from Jamendo with creative common license. The author is Mattias Westlund and I've download three albums (chronicles I to III). The problem is it's only for personal use so I don't know if I can attach the songs here or if they can be used in a non-commercial game. In any case I think some songs fit pretty well with Forge and it'll make Forge to have some more "personality" if you understand me.
If some developer is interested in this music and it's legal to post it I'll help with it by attaching it !

Hi,
To me personally it sounds like a great idea, but of course, it's necessary to make sure that it'd be legal to do so, perhaps even by asking for permission directly - please let us know what you find out.

I've contacted the author and he was quite positive about it, in fact here's the message I received:
I've attached the three albums I saw in Jamendo, (but you can look for it and download from Jamendo if you want since it's completely legal). There are a lot of songs, obviously most of them perhaps doesn't fit very well (it depends of course on people tastes) Besides, all Mattias' music can be used and there are a lot of authors who do the same as him so there is plenty of music. If people in the dev team keep being interested I can help in looking for and proposing music for Forge. Well, what's dev's opinion about all of this? .Hi,
No problem at all! In fact you don't even have to ask my permission, all you have to do is credit me if you use the music for some project
Best regards,
Mattias

Do we have a single zip file for all sounds currently chosen?

To be honest, I'm not sure, but I can compile one if necessary, I have all the individual files collected in one folder.
P.S. Will get on to searching for more sounds quite soon, just going through another busy period at work.

I was hoping that some of the user base would show an interest in helping the devs find a few interesting sound files. It looks like a few people (but not a lot of people) have bothered to download the several candidate sound files.
I guess that people for various reasons may not be aware of the new sound feature. Should we go ahead and add the few sound files to the SVN trunk and set the pref to turn sounds on?
This would help to make this new feature more obvious and we might then have a few people step forward with some additional sounds.

Wasn't someone talking about adding the download to the Content Downloaders?Chris H. wrote:I guess that people for various reasons may not be aware of the new sound feature. Should we go ahead and add the few sound files to the SVN trunk and set the pref to turn sounds on?

There was a suggestion that we could do it this way. Once we have a full set of sounds assigned to a large set of events we may want to reduce the size of the archive in this fashion.
Currently the sounds that we have collected may not be large enough to substatially increase the size of the forge archive.
