Crop Image Support

Postby woogerboy21 » 29 Jan 2014, 20:24

Is there any plans to support crops to place in the rendered image pane? Whether it be the crops produced by the team here or simple crops of the gatherer images? (Can't remember if this was already asked).
It would be kind of cool if the app pulled the card image from the gatherer and cropped the picture to add to the rendered image, with the ability to enable / disable the functionality (just brainstorming here).

No. Fulls are better and there's no reason to use the crops.

There is a similar feature request in the tracker. To do it I need to extract and store "multiverseid" for each card. It's an additional work I don't think it's worth it.
When you´re a goblin, you don´t have to step forward to be a hero -- everyone else just has to step back.

I guess I don't understand the reasoning behind using the image section of a full card image in the rendering window. Seems that if I have a full card image the rendered image window is useless.

Unless you want to render it with the oracle text when printing proxies.

True. I'm sticking to my opinion though (mainly for spacing concerns) ;)
