Importing MyCollection

Postby dukemb » 28 Apr 2010, 19:41

Hi! I am new to MagicAlbum. Until now I am using Magic Suitcase. Is there any way to import my card collection from MagicSuitcase to Magic Album. I have over 20.000 cards in collection and if there is no such possibility, there is no way I would switch to other program.
Regards, Gregor

Right now it is impossible. I'll look into this later.

It depends on Suitcase inventory format. I can't give you an ETA or any guarantees.

Take a look at the suitcase to MWS converters, maybe they'll give you some ideas?

EXE files without sources can't help me. Nevertheless I've already did some research and here's the results:
1. I can code Suitcase converter myself.
2. I think it's a very good idea so it will be a high priority task.

That would be great! Thanks! :)

One more thing: When importing from MWS you get a list of records which weren't imported, but this list isn't saved anywhere - a txt file or possibility to print it would be great.

I don't know if this is off-topic, but I was curious if there are converters for apprentice/deck djinni to magic album, and magic album to magic forge. If not, what language is best for a converter, or can it be done in any? Thank you.
