Darkseid 2

4 Skinthinner
4 Soul Collector
2 Damnation
3 Overwhelming Forces
4 Wrench Mind

I think the AI won't use morph abilities at instand speed (i.e. when unblocked). It's hard for me to determine the difficulty (but it doesn't look too hard).

EDIT: Added your UB deck as Kang 3.

I am too lazy to look up the icon for Wally.
What is it? Wally West Flash?

Chris already has one I think.

PS: I've added your Kang 2 deck.

You made me do it.
I used this link:
http://www.mediafire.com/?sye1yeg6ep9jgql
to check the current icons.
That link was from the most recent update 4/22/2011.
I could not find one called Wally.

Mmh, there's not much synergy between the red cards and the vampires other than getting the opponent to less than 10 life, which is something the AI can't forsee - it will use lightning bolt mostly to kill creatures when the Player is high on life.
And we already have a mono black vampire deck: Bela Lugosi 3.
And I think I remember hearing about some AI problems with Arc Trail.

I included several icons from the Dilbert comic strip. I think that Wally is one of them. The third message in this topic contains an archive with a number of unused icons from you and me.

I was looking for a faster vampire deck that could burn you out after the initial rush.

| Open
Bela Lugosi 3
[general]
constructed
[main]
4 Vampire Nocturnus
3 Anowon, the Ruin Sage
4 Malakir Bloodwitch
2 Child of Night
22 Swamp
1 Mox Jet
4 Vampire Nighthawk
4 Bloodghast
4 Ruthless Cullblade
4 Guul Draz Vampire
4 Guul Draz Assassin
4 Go for the Throat
[sideboard]

Bela Lugosi 3 seemed like much more of a mid range deck than the Vampire 3. I wanted to showcase some of the newer cards. Boo.
Vampire Nocturnus does make it closer to the Bela deck.
| Open
Vampire 3
[general]
constructed
[main]
4 Bloodghast
3 Arrogant Bloodlord
4 Gatekeeper of Malakir
4 Kalastria Highborn
4 Pulse Tracker
2 Vampire Hexmage
4 Vampire Lacerator
3 Feast of Blood
2 Terminate
3 Burst Lightning
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Blackcleave Cliffs
4 Dragonskull Summit
3 Lavaclaw Reaches
3 Marsh Flats
7 Swamp
2 Verdant Catacombs
[sideboard]

Better or still too close to the other deck?
The only card that the decks now share is Bloodghast.

What if we tone Bela Lugosi 3 down somewhat to a level 2 deck? I like the idea of having a medium and a hard Vampire deck.

We may not want to have two level 3 Vampire decks, but we should have enough cards now to put together a few tribal decks using other types of creatures.

Yes, maybe you can try to make Bela Lugosi 3 more challenging and make a medium deck with less powerful vampire stuff. I'm not a vampire expert.

For comparison here is a version of lazylockie:
Code: Select all
Bela Lugosi 3
[general]
constructed
[main]
4 Verdant Catacombs
4 Marsh Flats
15 Swamp
1 Mox Jet
4 Vampire Nocturnus
4 Vampire Nighthawk
4 Bloodghast
4 Vampire Lacerator
4 Gatekeeper of Malakir
4 Go for the Throat
4 Sign in Blood
3 Malakir Bloodwitch
3 Guul Draz Assassin
2 Anowon, the Ruin Sage

Both decks seem solid to me.
I guess I am from the school of more is better.
My vote would be to keep them both since they feature different cards and strategy. The more decks the better. As long as you are not repeating the same deck. We have more than one White deck Knights(King Arthur) and Soldiers(Blackbeard). Who cares if two decks feature the same tribe if they play differently.

And now for something completely different, here is a UW deck. I think that it is underpowered for level 3.
Thoughts?
