Graphical deck<->sideboard deck editor - coders?
by brockfanning » 19 Jan 2011, 18:21
I wasn't sure the best place to post this, because it doesn't have to be related to Online Play Table, but the idea was inspired by a post in this OPT forum: viewtopic.php?p=28660#p28660
I'm envisioning a limited deck editor that is only used to move cards to/from the sideboard, and add lands. The main use would be to construct a deck after a draft. But I suppose it could also be used to sideboard in between games. (unless there was some issue with security codes, dunno about that, but mainly I'm thinking about draft)
The main difference from other deck editors I've seen is that this would be graphical, like you see on MTGO. Cards would be dragged around and switched out visually. But of course it would have the usual features like sorting by cost, type, etc.
I'm a coder and would be happy to take the lead on this. But I'm posting here so that you call can...
a) ...jump on board and help
b) ...let me know if such a thing already exists, or is unnecessary
c) ...provide any feedback or ideas
d) ...tell me a better place to post this
Thanks!
