Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Played a quick game w/ random war bands tonight and managed to botch a 5 to 1 lead, losing 6-5. AI was bumped up a wee bit to a depth of 9 and no turn took very long at all. As with any random set of minis, some just won't be very useful, for me Blademiller wasn't much use without a lot of spawn abilities.

I made some dumb moves towards the end game w/ the Cursed Faerie including attacking with her when she was engaging a piece in the 5 scoring cell. Duh! Too tempting to roll all those dice. I also used Pearlthorn Charlatan to my advantage by swapping him around where he could soak up the ensuing strikes. Yazrael moving back and forth was good to keep reinforcements from spawning where the AI needed them most.

Game was about 34 minutes total since there were a lot of tied turns. Very tense game. It's quite satisfying to have an AI you created come back from the brink of defeat and kick your a*s.

Also was beat earlier in the evening by the excellent 'Keldon' AI for Race for the Galaxy. That AI is **brutal**.

It was playing the release that will be out soon.

I'm just an average player though, and we were both playing randomly generated war bands.
Really was surprised I lost though, thought I was going to win 6 to 1.

I wish I was better with the graphics stuff to do things like animated dice. I've tried stuff like that recently, and failed miserably and gave up. I'm more of an "engine" guy I guess. hehe
