Fair enough. It is actually much easier to leave them alone anyway.

Sure, this is one of those settings that should be here instead of on the preferences page.

Thanks for the feedback.

EDIT: Added to my TODO list (http://www.cardforge.org/bugz/view.php?id=728).

Can the Set Window Size Dev Mode feature I added just be put in the Layout menu? It doesn't need to be only available to developers and would fit well there.

Also, can we make the Layout menu available on the Home and Deck Editor screens?

Seems like a good idea - I have got no problems if you want to move it.

Feel free to add whatever you think would be useful - that is what it is designed for. This post (viewtopic.php?f=52&t=11518#p129825) explains how to add your own menus.

Steve.

If we do add a Layout menu to the Home screen, can I suggest adding the Themes as a submenu - as a GUI developer it's tiring having to constantly open Preferences and then scroll down to find the setting so I can test a different theme! :)

r23016
- Made Layout menu available to all screens, with Background Image only available on Match screen, and File and View submenus hidden on Home screen
- Moved "Set Window Size" option from Dev pane/menu on Match screen to Layout menu

r23017
- Added Theme submenu to Layout menu, containing radio buttons for each theme that, when clicked, will change the theme and prompt user to restart for it to take effect

Nice work.

Not sure about Theme being an option in the match screen though - I see it as more of an overall setting. The options in the Layout menu in the match/deck editor screens should relate specifically to those screens. Switching themes also requires a restart which is not going to happen in the middle of a game. Just my opinion.

I am actually investigating how hard it would be to support changing the theme without a restart. I think it would be really nice if we could do so. In the meantime there's no hard in having it there, as it always prompts you whether you want to restart if you try to change the theme.
