Bug tracker?
by elcnesh » 26 Jun 2014, 12:34
I was thinking about tracking bugs... What we use now (posting to the forum) works for small fixes, but some problems might get reported in one Beta release thread, and then forgotten about when the next Beta is released. I know there's the old bug tracker, but it seems not to be used anymore and may need a lot of cleaning to be of any use. Then I noticed that this forum actually also has a bugtracker, which looks quite nice on first sight. How about starting to use it to track problems that aren't solved within a single Beta release iteration?

The bug tracker on the forums seems to be specifically for Magic Album.

The bug tracker at cardforge.org sees some use... according to the copies of bugs submitted I see in my email.
I chose mantis because it had eclipse and java integration. At the time, devs and users were requesting the feature to directly report bugs. But reporting every little crash was becoming impractical.
I'm open to suggestions, there are other, more modern and user friendly bug trackers.
