It's been changed for some time now... Suggest new text:We have changed the archival format used for the Forge distributions from ".zip" to ".tar.bz2".
The archive format used for the Forge distribution is ".tar.bz2".

Is everyone OK with a beta release tomorrow?

The two CardFactory iterate bugs were fixed and forge will now build and run. Thank you Max.
It looks like Sloth fixed the mana pool update bug. Thank you Sloth.
I think that we should consider delaying the beta release for a few weeks. I am getting dangerously close to my moving date. My last chance for a beta release before I move would be Friday August 3.
I would like to give people a chance to continue their work on the performance issues and we need a chance to find and fix whatever bugs crop up during this process.

I haven't seen any new bugs today (or any bugs at all to be exact). I'm confident that the current version will make a fine beta.
Oh, and Planechase 2012 pics have been posted: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=445&start=1200#p94854

I play tested today's snapshot build a few times and did not notice any problems. I will release the beta tomorrow.
