Partial Paris AI
by Hellfish » 03 Apr 2013, 09:07
Just looking for ideas for AI for the new mulligan method.
The (really basic) method I'm considering is is to aim for ~40% land and no cards with CMC>4 (3 if short on lands). So candidates for exile would be extra lands and expensive cards.Keep exiling until there is < 2 candidates or handsize < 5.
Yeah, I'm no AI Whiz.

So now you're
Screaming for the blood of the cookie monster
Evil puppet demon of obesity
Time to change the tune of his fearful ballad
C is for "Lettuce," that's good enough for me

Since each Partial Paris nets you one less card, I would think starting with something like this should be a decent baseline.
3 or 4 lands, keep.
< 3 lands. Max partial paris difference between non-lands and lands, minimum partial paris is always 2. (Choose by CMC or Mana Availability based on lands?)
(5-2=3, 6-1 =5, 7-0 = 7)
>4
Partial paris (# of lands - 3). Max 3.
(5 - 3 = 2, 6 - 3 = 3, 7 - 3 = 3
