cards with a *

Postby joemuz » 08 Nov 2009, 22:36

hi, i notice certain cards like:

autumn willow
hellkite overlord
darksteel ingot
pattern of rebirth

and others have asterisks after their name. what does that mean?

also, it seems like every time i use pattern of rebirth on a creature and the creature dies, the game will crash. i looked it up in the bug list but it looks like people have used it without a problem... anyone know what's wrong? i first used it in sealed deck and it crashed. then i made a deck and used it in a duel and it crashed again. any help appreciated. thanks.

cards with an asterix are not exactly like the original, Hellkite overlord for instance misses a capacity ; in the case of Pattern of rebirth, the asterix is there to warn that the card tends to crash the game. That bug is apparently hard to fix

Pattern of rebirth tends to crash the game 50% of the time.

Also to note that Pattern of rebirth never crash the game if you sac or bury/exile the enchanted creature, it will only do that during combat phase
