first if this post is wrong please delete or move whatever...
i don't know about programing, so call me idiot if you want!
wouldn't be better made again the cards made on ASM
recoded on C and deleted the old cards, for compatibility with new cards?

For better compatibility, maybe, but there are several downsides :
- The numbers of cards to be recoded is still huge, and not only the coder(s) need to do annoying grunt code (especially on cards no one play), but also need to double or triple check every cards because of bug reports
- Moving to C cards without fully grasping all the original game data present the risk of having to recode again all cards if a new system is found or choosen
- The more cards are coded in C, the less cards are available in multiplayer (if this mode is still used since it's already so buggy)
Currently the recoding process from ASM to C is case by case, depending on the popularity and the bug report of the asm card.
