but wouldn't that mean you would have to use thsame multiverse id as the offical cards in the list or would the game still recongnize the custom ids that are used?

And it keeps going through all the premium cards in alphabetical order. I don't think there is a card limit, but if we do add a new card maybe we also have to add it in the POOL section for it to show up in-game.
So we could just create a new card pool list to overwrite the original and it should work right?

Hey, guys. I'm curious if there's any interest from the major contributors in a community mod. The files needed for it are pretty much ready to go if it ends up being anything like 2014 with the main file setup (a .zed file needs moved to the game folder, and that's it). It'll help to speed up modding and provide a way to avoid virtually all possible conflicts. I just want to know because if there is, I'll get the tools converted to work with .zed files. If not, I won't bother with it.

On a similar note, but not an identical one, the community art wad can be repacked as a zed once we figure out how so you guys won't need to worry about art, you can just link to it and it'll work. This doesn't include tokens, yet, but it's complete up to Journey into Nyx. I've got the pictures ready for up to M15 (as available on MTGImage.com), and they're available in the loose files section of my community wad, but they're not packed yet (I'll do that later today or at least some time this week).

EDIT: I feel I should point out that I'm trying to force this on anyone. I'm just making sure everyone's aware of it.

Just a tip: you don't need to keep all the files duplicated in Content\CARDS, just keep those that you modify (or intend to modify). The other ones will be read from the original ZED file.

I just want the cards the AI is using. :lol: I really liked some if the decks the AI used like Liliana, Kiora, Slivers and Nissa. Unfortunately, we don't get any of their fun cards....

So basically inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Magic 2015 we can use that card folder posted earlier and make some mods that the modded 3dm .exe file will read them from there?

By the way, is there any way to unlock all the cards immediately with 3DM's crack and skip the tutorial/Innistrad so I can actually start modding cards with it? CODEX's crack starts with all the cards unlocked but it doesn't read anything in the Content/CARDS directory.

EDIT: Nevermind, it turns out the cards only unlock after I restart the game upon beating Innistrad.

I tried to add a card both as a stand-alone file and to D15_INNISTRAD_PLAYER_POOL, but it doesn't appear in game. I'm afraid we can only make substitutions. :(

Okay..so could someone give some more precise directions on how to install this card folder and what exactly it does?

I put it in Content/Cards like someone else said.. added the file that other person forgot to upload. Now my cards have no text, I guess because it's trying to display chinese or some such?

Further more, this didn't actually add anything. The premium cards are still locked, and it didn't unlock the AI only cards which are listed in the Cars folder... so what exactly does this do?

The card folder will override any cards in the WAD; this allows you to modify the cards by substituting the data in a card XML file with the data of another card, "tricking" the game into thinking your modded card is the card that it is loading. All the cards in the folder sumomole provided are in Chinese but you don't have to put every card in the folder, just the cards you want to modify. The card folder doesn't unlock anything new; it just allows you to replace existing ones.
