DOTP 2013 - Share cards here.

My suggestion is to everyone post a zip with their 2013 cards. The .xml of the cards is enough, but if someone want to share the .tdx or full deck .wad, it's ok. To keep the topic clean, i suggest everyone to edit their posts instead of add new ones to share a updated card base. I think it could make things faster, since you don't need to code a card that someone already did.

I am up for this. In 2012 I used the card generator to get the correct Multiverse IDs and tokens and newer cards that the editor didn't have, I made up my own. Is there a source of correct/consistent IDs so we can stick to a standard without clashing?

I started using the real Multiverse IDs with DotP2013. I take them directly from Gatherer. When I have to choose between expansions, I usually choose the most "iconic", but that's not really important, there are no clashes anyway.

Thanks for that, I agree having art ids the same is best. I am poking around inside the expanded wad files now, I notice that a great many resources are repeated in every single vanilla deck wad file. The same four lands of each colour are always there, many of the sound effects are repeated and so on. It seems that resources within the immediate wad file of the deck always take precedence... as long as always post the dependencies of a deck(s) in the same wad I don't think clashes will be an issue.

I just started making cards for dotp 2013, and we really need a repository. I just finished a deck and the AI is good. here's a screenshot of battle(the only missing card is Opalescence, and I have coded it but there's a bug when animating an enchantment :twisted: ):

Like i mentioned before, i created a TeamDrive. It has 2gb space and 20gb traffic limit per month, i think is enough for all cards, illustrations, decks,... The software is simple. If everyone agrees, and wants to participate, just pm me with email to send invitation.

It raised some questions.

What can we do for localized text for languages in which the card has never been printed?

Why is there no "ATTACKING_OR_BLOCKING" value?

FYI I'm about 60% through a Red/Black vampire deck made primarily of Innistrad cards. I'll link to the cards here when I post the deck. I need to work fast, Innistrad vampires are conspicuously missing from 2013 and I think they'll be in a DLC...
