Spectral Procession is a relatively easy card to make, but because the casting cost is something that the engine doesn't know how to look up images for (I've tried) the casting cost will never be visible on the card (even though the engine does understand the cost).

I can make it for you if you are okay with the casting cost not being visible, though it would probably confuse players.

Magus of the Future is just Future Sight (which is in the core) plus power and toughness.

Or even better, search for another Human Wizard (Archaeomancer for example) and copy those 2 lines from that. This way you'll also have the ordering IDs for non-English languages.
Copying and pasting everything you can is the best way to start coding your own cards. :wink:

i would greatly appreciate if you made the card dear sir:)

i am sorry for repeating myself but this is my wishlist:
Bitterblossom (really many decks could utilize this great card)
Spectral Procession
Lotus Cobra
Nest Invader (isn't it similar to Khalni Garden in some respects? - or the sacrifice-mana part is the problem?)

those cards would make my deck perfect:)

Notes:
  • Casting cost on Spectral Procession will not show as there are no images (and they can't be added) for {2/W}.
  • They are untested, but should work (as they are pretty easy cards).
  • Filenames should be the same as listed in the FILENAME tags.
  • ARTIDs may need to be changed to match what you name the artwork as.
  • The Faerie Rogue token uses one of my functions [RSN_Flying()] simply because it makes it slightly easier to code, but could be changed to not use it.

Lotus Cobra is only possible with mana tokens which I don't code for at the moment, sorry.

Nest Invader, as thefiremind stated before the problem is the sacrifice for mana part. There are two options for it.
  1. Write the Eldrazi Spawn tokens to sacrifice themselves when tapped for mana, though the game prioritizes colourless mana which would defeat the purpose of saving them for large spells.
  2. Write the Eldrazi Spawn tokens to use mana tokens which would mean that each one would have to be activated manually when you want to use them.
And no, Nest Invader really isn't that similar to Khalni Garden. The only similar part is creating a creature token when it enters the battlefield after that they are completely different. Even the tokens they create are quite different; one has a touchy ability (workaround required to implement) whereas the other has no abilities.

This still wouldn't be enough because summoning sickness wouldn't allow them to tap immediately (while you should be able to sacrifice them immediately if you want to).

Just in case someone wants to try (and maybe improve?) the idea that I had some time ago, I'll tell you what it's about: each Eldrazi Spawn creates an invisible token that can be tapped for mana (much like a mana token) when entering the battlefield, then the invisible token is saved into the Eldrazi Spawn's ObjectDC and a triggered ability sacrifices the Eldrazi Spawn when the invisible token becomes tapped. Of course you also need another triggered ability that removes the invisible token from the game when the Eldrazi Spawn leaves play.

True, I had forgotten about that, partially because I had not really worked with Eldrazi Spawn and partially because it just isn't a good solution. Mana tokens are a better solution especially because you have to use tokens anyway.

maybe a little offtopic question, but i am making illustrations for the cards that you provided code for and i have real problem where to find a good quality faerie token image. google doesn't help. can anyone suggest some good source?

You can't find hi-res pictures for any card, that would be too much to ask for. :lol: And tokens usually are the hardest to find. When I made Bitterblossom for DotP2012 I used this, even if it's small. Another option is to search for token scans here, but token pictures have a different shape so you would have to make the picture a bit larger than usual in order to hide the borders on the scan.

It happens to all of us now and again, sometimes we have to put it aside for a little while and come back to it, other times we just need a second set of eyes to look it over and find the simple stuff we miss.

hi, I wanted to report on Windbrisk Heights.
i do not not if it is the culprit, but i built a deck with this land and it sometimes crashes the game.
how could I verify whether it is the problem or something else causes the crash?
it is weird, because sometimes I am able to play the whole game and use the land to play Emrakul, but sometimes it crashes. and i do not see any particular card or interaction causing the crash, that's why i suspect, that maybe it's somewhat related to the new card that i am using.
ok, i've found this in the script log:

How would I go about making it so a creature does not untap? Trying to make Leaden Fists and that's all I'm missing, and I can't seem to think of any card that does that already.
