Standings so far after seven players have completed all the matches, we are only missing Grinninn's results but I didn't see a single match report from him so far, the 8th result is from Aswan Jaguar.
Nicdanger: 6 + 8 + 12 + 7 + 7 + 10 + 7 + 8 = 65
Cognis: 9 + 8 + 7 + 7 + 10 + 8 + 7 + 8 = 64
Shantak: 7 + 6 + 6 + 8 + 8 + 7 + 7 + 9 = 58
Grinnin: 5 + 8 + 8 + 7 + 5 + 7 + 7 + 10 = 57
Monopman: 8 + 9 + 7 + 6 + 7 + 6 + 8 + 5 = 56
Juzamjedi: 9 + 7 + 6 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 5 + 5 = 53
Jatill: 8 + 5 + 5 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 8 + 5 = 52
Aww1979: 4 + 5 + 5 + 6 + 5 + 5 + 7 + 6 = 43
The points go in this order: Cognis, Jatill, Nicdanger, Aww1979, Juzamjedi, Shantak, Monopman, Aswan Jaguar. Well the last results have really changed things in the rankings. Nicdanger and me are still 1 point apart, Shantak moved up and Grinnin rocketed to 4th place while Juzamjedi sank to 6th. Now we have a conundrum, with this Grinnin is sure for the 2nd round but without seeing him for the past 3 weeks and not reporting is he still in the tournament at all. Best to leave it to Nicdanger who’s running the tournament.

Im still here! I was waiting and hoping grinnin would come around especially with the new results but it doesn't look good at this point.
I propose dropping grinnin and going to ahead with the top 4 remaining decks for round 2. Once those results are in the top 2 decks will play in the finals.
Unless there are any major objections, Cognis, Shantak, and Monopoman should go ahead and post updated decklists. I've decided not to alter mine!

Good to know. Cognis, Shantak, Monopoman, and NicDanger, please submit your first prize card. Juzamjedi, you get 1 too, since under the original rules you would have gotten a card.

The last 4 are going to be brutal. I think everyone won against everyone during the first round. I wouldn't bet on anyone. I honestly don't know what card to pick, no wait, Withered Wretch, its good in 5:1 and I don't want to think too much about the prize. I don't think I'll make changes to the deck but I'll check what I have and update if necessary. Is this the last time we can change deck or will we have another chance after this round as well.

For my prize card... is Mimic Vat doable? Creating hasted tokens like Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker should be easy, but imprinting creatures as they hit the graveyard sounds harder.
For my deck... I don't really know what to change, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears. Tawnos's Coffin worked fine in 240sxForever's Antiquities deck - maybe it would be useful here, as an extra removal tool or for saving creatures from Wrath effects? But what to replace?

I request: Lotus Bloom
I think that is possible now, but if not then I choose Lion's Eye Diamond.
Monopoman - I'm not sure we can be friends

Lucky for me, even though I got last place, monopoman picked one of my top requests in Ethersworn Canonist My favourite decks are those irritating ones that nobody can figure out how they win, like suicide black or sligh decks or gay fish or that sort of thing, and this card fits the bill quite nicely.
I just hope it can be coded...

It's this newer deck that uses annoying creatures like Cursecatcher or Silvertail Hatchling, and counters like Daze of Force of Will. One of the main reasons people like it is that you can build the deck fairly cheaply, though I've heard Force of Will costs a lot more money than it did in my day.
This is the first deck I found with google, just as a rough idea:

Well it sure looks like it would be irritating to play against it.
