We're at ten submitted decks now, and two people changed theirs, including the person whose deck nearly matched one of mine (only 33/60 match now :p)

I tested non-combo aggro decks that totally dominated in 20+ gauntlets with the decks from the last tournament, but the AI's use of them discouraged me from submitting them (it didn't play Baneslayers, discarded removal, didn't use cards in play that would have definitely killed me in a couple turns, etc. All in all, I'm glad with my deck choice because the AI is pretty good with it... I'm hoping it'll fare better than last time. :D

When will the decks be uploaded so we can start playing. It's 6.30PM here so I'm eager to start playing since I'm finished with work today :)

Just submitted my deck (hopefully still in time, as well :)).

Trying out something different from Zoo this time ^^

Jatill: Sower of Temptation and Mystic Enforcer were used by the decks received.

Nyktorian: Yes, you are in time with your deck.

Anyone else who is interested in playing, you'll have a few hours to get an entry in. Jatill asked me to wait until his next update comes in before releasing the decks, as there will be some changes to the way the AI uses certain cards, which might impact how you do in the tournament.

Also, of the three decks I designed, two players submitted decks that have over 50% similarities. Should I bother including those in the gauntlet, or not? (if not, Jatill can skip Mystic Enforcer for the patch since I'm the only one who used that; I didn't realize it was locked when I put it in one of my decks)

I'd just put 1 of yours in imho to keep up the chances of submitted decks (who need the scores) being played by the AI.

Okay, fair enough. Jatill, you only need to worry about Sower of Temptation then. I'll just submit the unique deck. There are 13 entries besides mine, so two near-duplicates would use up testing time.

For the curious, I'll put the other two decks I made into the decks&strategies forum, but not until the tournament actually begins. (so that people don't go aha! there is a copy of that deck in the list, and metagame appropriately)

Could we get some sort of a list of what cards will be impacted since the deck I submitted wasn't my first choice and if there are going to be some bigger changes could we postpone the start until tomorrow? Actually, there will be plenty more tournaments so the sooner it starts, the better, good luck everyone and let the games begin (soon) :)

Nothing major. I rewrote Platinum Angel (ok, that is major if you're using the card), and improved the AI for Everflowing Chalice.

I hope it will start in about an hour or so or I'll go to bed, but if it starts I'll have to play one gauntlet, at least, just one, ok, maybe two :D

I am no longer accepting submitted decks. Here are the decks (14 in all) and the excel scoresheet. I didn't think to make a text file scoresheet, so if anyone needs one, let me know.

The deadline for testing the decks will be Friday, May 28, giving you a bit more than two weeks. That works out to a deck a day or so.

I don't think I specified it in the original rules, but I'll use the same prize structure that Jatill used for the first tournament, i.e. 3 cards for 1st place, and 1 card each for 2nd and 3rd place.

edit: oh, if anyone doesn't have Sower of Temptation unlocked, PM me and I'll send you the patch. Jatill PMed it to me, and I wasn't sure if it was to be made public or not, so I didn't put it up yet. (if it's ok to put it up Jatill, just let me know and I'll do it, or post it yourself if I don't reply in time)
