The Public Server and Xmage.info are both down.
Also another user told me yesterday that they had a problem with See the Unwritten. The player had Ferocious, which would let you put 2 creatures into play, but they only revealed one but couldn't advance because See the Unwritten was requiring two creatures.

Here's the game log for the Keranos + Divination interaction. It was the final Divination of the game, the one where I revealed Elspeth, which certainly wasn't my first draw of the turn.
Hmm. I can't attach the game log. I'm going to just post it here.

Matches on Public Server are hanging at the beginning of the game, after joining but before the coin toss. Seedds server was doing something similar yesterday. After waiting for a bit, the game will generally continue.
SHOULD BE FIXED WITH 2014-10-05v3
It happens if no more game threads are available on the server.
The number of available game threads is defined in the server config.xml (40 for public server currently).
The fixed bug blocked the current game thread, so the pool of available threads decreased over time.
A game did start only, if a game thread was available again (other game ended).

Unless i missed something in the UI I don't think Aetherspouts lets you determine what order the attacking creatures are put on the top/bottom of my deck (e.g. if I want to put 2 things on top, I don't get to choose the order).

1. John is correct. Aetherspouts doesn't let the targeted player determine the proper order.
FIXED
2. I started a commander game yesterday where the commander wasn't present in the command zone for either player. Seems like a new bug.

Not really sure what was happening, but I couldn't answer my opponent's spells/abilities. They would usually go on the stack then immediately resolve. I could answer my own abilities. I could also answer my opponent's spell that was in response to mine.
I tried not using any function keys, or using every single one to no success.
This is on the 2014-10-05v3 version running on Windows 7 32 bits with Java 1.8.0_20.
FIXED with v4

It was in phases you have checked "on" in the Preferences?emerald000 wrote:Not really sure what was happening, but I couldn't answer my opponent's spells/abilities. Because in a phase that is set to "off" in Preferences, the game will skip your priority automatically as long as you didn't used a shot cut key (F4/F5/F7) that will stop if something is on the stack.

That was not the behavior in the versions before this one. I also find that behavior quite weird. If I want to hold a Counterspell and do something else on a specific phase, I have to check all the phases "on" in case the opponent does something on that particular phase.
This is also different to MTGO, where the "checked" phase only applies when the stack is empty. If you want to yield to everything, you have to hit the corresponding hotkey (F6).
I'd rather not have to pass priority manually on my draw step in case I want to respond to something. Seems much more logical to follow MTGO's implementation.

I'm completely with you. This was an unintended change that was caused by the movement of the skip handling from client to server side. I changed the handling now, that the skip phase of Preferences is only applied if the stack is empty.emerald000 wrote:That was not the behavior in the versions before this one. That would be the needed change also in your opinion?
Or do you see more problems?

I don't know if this is a bug or depends on server but it happened also with previous versions of XMage. The "Done" button disappears and also the shortcuts F2, F4 etc don't work to advance the game; if i type something in game chat it isn't visible to me and i think to the opponent too so the only solution is to quit the game.
