Ok I was wrong, it works :/ Sorry for having wasted a bit of your time!LevelX wrote:I tested Mindbreak Trap now and it did work as intended with alternate cost of .Rubblekill wrote:Mindbreak Trap 's alternate casting method doesn't work with me, is it a common problem?

Can you describe more in detail, in which situation it did not work?
Maybe you can also post the game log as information?
No I didn't. I played 2 copies of Kill Shot today ... and couldn't use them.LevelX wrote:My guess is that you clicked/pushed F4 / F5 / F7 or F9 before, to skip steps.iLex wrote:It's impossible to use cards or activate abilities during my opponents turn in Declare Attackers or Declare Blockers step. I can't activate cards like Kill Shot or activate abilities like Mardu Hateblade. The program just doesn't stop. And yes: I marked to stop in both steps.
That means the XMage stops for declaring attackers or blockers but skips your priority in Declare Attackers and Declare Blockers Step.
You may not use the hot keys if you want the priority in these steps or you have to click/push at least F3 before your opponent has finished declaring attackers ot at latest you have to click F3 while you are asked to declare blockers if you want priority in the Declare blockers step after declaring blockers. F3 cancels the activated skip orders.
If my guess is wrong I need more details, because I have no problems to use Kill Shot or the ability of Mardu Hateblate in these steps.
Ok, only strange that I never had a problem to use them after opponent attacked.iLex wrote:No I didn't.
