I am almost finished the changes to the Launcher that will allow downloading using bittorrent. I would have been done sooner but I got sidetracked working on the MCTS AI and was having too much fun.

Hopefully I will have something production ready in a few days.

Yeah doing some work for AI can be funny. :D
Making it using fetch landwould be of course a useful change.

Can the download techniques be mixed?
I mean something like if there is a working download link it should be used, if not the bittorrent logic can be used.

I've been going back and forth on the flow. I am thinking that I will have the Launcher just check for new versions on startup and notify but not start downloading right away. The user will then have buttons for downloading java and the xmage installer using torrent or not. And I'll add another button to check for new versions without having to close and reopen.

I hope it continues to be fun for you. The Monte Carlo technique seems to be best. Magarena is a shining example of that.

What's the latest on all this? Can we be expecting a launcher or xMage update any time soon? I'm especially looking forward to the possibility of the Commander 2014 decks being added.

Update this weekend. C14 currently still ~30 cards missing.

Three solutions:
* You can write (dot) instead of .
* You can PM me
* You can make two more posts than you are able to post URLs

I was on it earlier and it seemed to be working well. Fast speeds, even with me in the US.
