Problems with Launcher
by OJIMUDBONE » 04 Dec 2014, 15:16
It seems that when I downloaded the launcher, it did not properly install the xmage client. Java was properly installed, but xmage itself was not.
Java version installed: 1.7.0_71
Java version available: 1.7.0_71
XMage version installed: 1.3.0.dev2014-11-29v2 (2014-12-03)
XMage version available: 1.3.0.dev2014-11-29v2 (2014-12-03)
Is what is in the launcher, but when I go into the xmage folder nothing is in there. When I attempt to launch the client, a blank Xmage client console window is all that is present. Where can I download the missing files?

I tested it now and had no problems (needed 2 minutes).
Did you retry?
My log looks like this:

Sorry to hear about your issues with the Launcher. I'm about to release a new version and I'm going to include a feature to force an update. This will download and reinstall everything even though the Launcher thinks that everything is up-to-date. Hopefully this will work around the issue that you had if anyone else encounters it.

Can we also get a manual link back? Updating my server on a headless VPS is made more difficult without a download link to wget
