Client Will Not Launch on openSUSE
by Qwop » 28 Jul 2015, 01:28
I can get the xmage client to launch and work just fine on 3 systems, all of which are Ubuntu or Mint.
But I can't get it to work on my system running openSUSE. I tried it in a VM with a fresh installation of openSUSE, just to make sure the other install/config wasn't messed up somehow, and I get the same issue.
I tried to post the contents of the mageclient.log file and the output of the xmage client console, but the forum software is telling me, "Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs." There are no URLs in the text I'm trying to paste, but the forum software cannot be reasoned with. So hopefully the above description is sufficient to give someone an idea of what problem I may be facing, or where I can start looking for a solution.
Thanks,
