Event logs for a match.

Postby StUrzasBeard » 03 Nov 2015, 14:23

I came across a very abusive player. I am not entirely sure if that is against Woogerworks' rules but he claimed to be a top DCI participant in England (probably not a credible claim.) If that was the case I would be disheartened if he were treating all of his opponents like this.

My question is: If it is against the ULA of XMage to abuse the other players by being belligerent, hateful, and an all-around bully, how do I retrieve these event logs to report him? I am beginning to get my son into this game and if it can be avoided, I would like him not to be subject to this kind of treatment. If there are no rules I will have to simply keep him off of it or allow him on only during times I can supervise (a wiser habit to keep anyway.) I spent the rest of the match consoling the kid and telling him that whatever is hurting him in his offline life has no power over him. I will not be giving his username here unless a moderator requires it.

There is no tracking or punishing of players that behave abusive.
Would also hard to do without the need to register users. Even if, as long as you can create a new user for free it wouldn't be very helpful.
There are no tools neither the manpower to do such things.

You use XMage and the public servers on your own risk.
You can only set up your own server and give the connect information to players only you know and accept.

It's cool, Woogerworks runs the server I play on and they claim not to tolerate that kind of behavior even if it is futile. I will just not accept matches from that player again as planned.
Thanks for the feedback.
